Like many of you i have lost of friends and family who are non smokers and insist on try to get me to quit. They are not bad people they are just earnestly concerned about the dangers in traditional cigs. they see us as polluting their air and runing their health by forcing our smoke on them. Ecigs off more than just a way to stick it to the nonsmoker who kicked us out of everywhere. They can end the whole us vs them fight once and for all. Most non smokers don't realize that they will never get us to quit, and that it is wrong to try to force us to quit. they honestly belive they are saving the world every time they stop some one fom lighting up. We just need to change thier perspective and get them to help us in our fight to keep ecigs leagal and avalible to adult smokers. When i told my sister i about ecigs and that i was switching. I said you know I have always felt so bad that my smoke could hurt some one around me. I just don't think that i should be forced to give up my right to choose. I don't hold you down and force my cig in your mouth. But no matter how hard i ty to keep the smoke awayfrom everyone else it could not be done until now. I thought i would get the same old why don't you just quit speech. What she said was, wow i am so proud of you. I have never been against you having the right to smoke i just always thought it was selfish of you to expose other people to it. It is so wonderful that now you can smoke without hurting anyone. I am glad you are taking this step to protect your kids from smoke. She even asked how much it cost and if i needed any help with that. I thing their are a lot of now smokers out their like my sister who would be thrilled that there is a way to take the second hand dangers out of smoking with out forcing any one to give up their rights. If we present our side with respect instead of anger and resentment, we may find they not only agee with us but support our cause. Some of them would even buy ecigs for the smokers they know and feel like they were still saving the world. If we are all for it who will be against it?
