So it's been over TWENTY PLUS DAYS since my order left New York, for Canada:

That's literally a 15 minute flight, 1.5 hours by car, from me. It's been *stuck* somewhere, since May 29th.
I'm just looking for confirmation from fellow Canucks that, indeed, sometimes Customs has held Halo packages for several weeks before releasing them. Give me a sign of hope, eh, you hosers?! Was a $200+ Order....
:tumble:

I vape only Halo except my DIY menthol. About 2 years ago I had a 8 bottle order of Halo go awol after leaving ISC/Jamacia NY/ JFK airport. About 40+ days later I received a Canada Customs / Health Canada HC notice in the mail. I called Canada Customs and gave them them the notice number and they said HC had returned the package back to them after inspecting it and that I had 3 options 1. do noting and they would destroy it in X number of days, 2. give them permission to destroy it, or 3. give notice in writing or by email to have the parcel sent back to Sender. I took option 3 and Halo received the parcel a few days later, I then paid to have it reshipped. Halo was awesome to work with, sent me email as soon as the parcel returned to them. All of my orders have arrived to Ontario in 7 days or less except that one.

No Prob pulp. HC are a bunch of Hosers eh! Making up their own non-legislated rules for the non-commercial buyer is a violation of the Canadian Charter. The 4th option they don't tell you about is to 'Contests' the blocked/seized decision of HC and begin seeking a court mandamus order to, release to your persons, your property under grounds of the Charter and the consumer products regulation. Customs then holds your parcel till legal decision by Court mandamus or writ of release from HC. I've heard of some getting writ for release from HC before going to court, but they had nice Lawyers on retainer$ :D

If you got hosed, all is not lost, you just have to pay a little more for one order to come home. It's been 2 and half years I've enjoyed Halo, one hiccup and a extra $23 bucks is nothin for the joy of being off smokes with #1 Halo :) My local Brick & Morter vape lounge also carries Halo, but I still order direct.

Hey Happy Canada Day Hose Head! May you find a mouse in your Beer Bottle and receive Free Beer!

Thank you for giving me hope, CityLights! :2cool:
I'm on Day 34 so.... 6 more days to wait before that letter possibly being sent.... :nun:

Pulp, I'm so sorry your having to wait this long to get your shipment. I hope this, like CityLights said, is just this one time that this happens with Canadian customs. Can I send you anything to help you get by? Halo juice? I'd love to help you. :)

Holy crap! I JUST received an email: "We actually did receive your package back at our office today. Please give us approval to manually charge your credit card in the amount ($42.90) for the upgraded shipment of USPS Express International Mail so we can reship your package."

So happy about this turn of events. Looks like 2 to 2 and a half months is the time frame. :))))
