I have labyrinth, morning sun and metaphor but I don't think I've tried them yet. Wow is excellent, as I stated. Glory is undecided. Cocoon I wasn't thrilled with. I opted out of UP because I don't like their other coffee flavors (Cappucino, Espresso, etc) but my friend liked it quite a bit. He said it was "different".

@Rin13 - I made some new-flavoring tester bottles earlier, 50/50 3mg single flavors:

FA Cocoon 4% (spiced caramel apple)
FA Labyrinth 5% (creamy spice-cake, Nonna's?)
FA Metaphor 4% ("crispy" lemon cake)
FA Morning Sun 4% (mixed fruit with cream)
FA UP 3% (coffee cereal something)
FA Wow 4% (raspberry-filled fried donut)
...and...
INW Custard 3% (@dobroeutro got me interested, and it sure smells terrific)

And I forgot to do the 2% FA Joy. Soon. I think I'll give these a couple weeks before tryout, except for the INW Custard, which is supposed to be a quick steeper (like 1 week).

I'm doing the 11-day test for my Pink Lemon Crème mix. Loaded up the EHPro Bachelor II with dual titanium coils (0.18ohm) and fresh cotton for the workout:

pink_lemon_creme_bachelor2.jpg

I'm using 65W and 450F temp control. I like this juice! It's right on target for the pink lemonade ice-cream (frozen custard?) I had in mind. Between the creams and the little bit of Joy it's plenty sweet enough for me, and I'm not detecting any off-flavors.

I'll mix a 30mL of it tomorrow, swapping EM for the Joy and bumping the Koolada to 0.1%, alongside a small bottle of Ckemist's recipe with my new Capella flavors, and we'll see which one I like better in a couple weeks. I'm very pleased with this one so he'll have a fight on his hands.

Now I've mixed new bottles of both Ckemist's and my recipes, so I'll just say the nose on mine is much stronger than his right after mixing. That's still true after 24 hours or so. I'm eager to taste the difference between them in a couple weeks.

BTW ChelsB, I forgot to mention that Ckemist suggests optionally adding 1% Sweet Strawberry to his mix, if you want a suggestion of strawberry syrup topping. I went without for my test batch, of course, but you might want to give it a go....

@ChelsB - Is that the Ckemist mix, or a single-flavor mix of the Capella flavor? I ask because it doesn't look pink anymore in your picture. Both my mix and the one I made from Ckemist's recipe aren't cloudy after 5 days in the bottle. His is pinkish, mine is light tan (with the 17-day old initial bottle a slightly darker tan), but all are clear.

Did it get exposed to any unusually cold temperature? Sometimes that can make for precipitate. Try giving it a hot water bath to warm it up, then shake it well and let it settle.

But if that doesn't "fix" it, I wouldn't worry about it too much, personally.

Actually I posted in the wrong place. It's the osdiy pink lemonade. The ckemist stuff is awesome!

Moment of truth! I'm firing up Ckemist's Frosted Pink'nilla 'Nade today. It's had a 10-day steep, so I put it right into a power rig, this time my Youde Bellus tank with twin SS316L coils making 0.26ohm, firing at 47W 450F TC. Now for my biased comparison:

For starters, it's not a bad vape. His lemonade top is more subdued than mine. I moved the temp control from starting point 420F to 450F, and that perked it up a bit, but it's still not as bright. His cream base, on the other hand, is much stronger, almost a little cheesy. The ice cream taste is very forward, in a warm and melted way. For some reason, I think the Koolada is imparting a tiny minty note I don't remember when trying mine, though I did use less of it in my first mix. I've bumped it to 0.1% in the 2nd 30mL bottle of my mix, just like I did with his, so I'll see if it appears when I get into that one.

In short, I win! :w00t:
Well, honestly it's been a while since I first tasted mine, but I'll load up the rest of my 1st test bottle after finishing this tank, to confirm my memory. I do love my refined FA creams, though, and this CAP cream base is a much different breed.

What a coincidence, I'm puffing on my frosted pinknilla right now!

Up tastes just like their other coffees IMO, which is not a praise...

I'll keep it in mind. I don't remember if it was you, but I've had the MF coffee suggested (I think it was on a different site) just yesterday
Wasn't me. I just stumbled across it in a recipe from someone whose palate I dearly trust recently. She advised a month steep for said recipe so I gave it that, and afterwards, was blown away by it. MF coffee was used @ 2%. FA Tiramisu was used @ .5% to add a roastiness, which while balanced well is the only flaw I see - I'm trying to replace it with WF Roasted Pecans and Cream.

Hello, thread revival time.
@ChelsB, you might want to look at FA Joy, since you're on the cotton candy hunt. Apparently it makes a good standalone when mixed at 2-3%: cotton candy top with fried dough bottom (per HeadInClouds, who really knows his FA stuff).
I saw the "cotton candy" and funnel cake description too. I get neither. I get a doughy note that so far I haven't been too fond of. Many people say it's a borderline beer/hop flavor so that may be partially why. I hate beer.
I even took a few sniffs of Joy in the bottle, where to me it smells like raw sweet-roll dough. Inoffensive enough, but I think I'll test-mix it singly at 2%, just to nail it down.
I'm finally tasting my single-flavor 2% tester of FA Joy today, and it's unmistakably sweet dough with hops, just like you said, Rin. Not beer, exactly, though I'm sure beer-lovers would appreciate it. It's BEER BREAD.

I love beer bread. I make it every time my wife cooks chicken marsala; it makes a perfect sop for that. 3 cups of sifted self-rising flour, 3 tbsp. of sugar, and a can of beer, mixed in a greased loaf pan, top-painted with melted butter, and baked at 375F for an hour. It's a super-easy bread, and so tasty. Don't miss it.

So, Joy is not what I expected, but in the end it did make me sort of happy. A low dose of it with a little Acetyl Pyrazine makes a pretty authentic bread flavor, I'm finding, and the combo is going into a PB&J Sandwich vape I'm working on.

I HATE marsala... so there's that too. Lol
