After testing this flavor @ 15% and right away test and 2-3 day steep.

My observation is it needs more apple and less spice, I added 3 drops tpa apple to see if that will boost the apple and so far no luck. Its is an apple pie but for me its far more crust and spice then actual apple. I will re-review in a week as other vendors apple has always taken a week or so to steep the proper apple flavor.

Ok I spoke a little to soon after letting it steep about a week this flavor is great the apple is really starting to emerge now, I think it will only get better from here.

I am so lucky I haven't run into anyone that has been rude with me because then I would be kicked off ECF forever. That stuff really irks me. Gratefully I have had people welcome me and others with love.

To all the meanies: just leave. You're not welcome. If you have something to say then talk to the wall.
I can't believe I just used that phrase. I'm giggling.

Thanks Str8....you have helped so much and I bow down before you.
Can you just place my order for me? GOSH this has taken me all day to track down recipes, reviews....blah blah blah.

It would be much easier if you would just handle it for me!
Hmm...seriously though

Just let me know what you need help with and id be glad to help. :)

Gosh, what a thread LOL.

Just tried this stuff for the first time today. Has only steeped about 4hrs and I see great potential here.

I'd really be interested to know of any other flavors that are pretty much just "stand alone" as this one is.

Just got my first order of Capella's, about a dozen different flavors, and they all smell great!

My thanks to Str8 and the many others who contribute to what I see as the finer part of vaping, DiY. IMO most anyone can get the mechanics and basic electrical theories down, but it takes real creativity and inspiration to become a gourmet DiY'er.

Give a man a bottle of juice and he'll vape for a week. Teach a man to DiY and he's vaping for life.

Another question. Str8, what are some fruit flavors you recommend? I'm not a big fruit fan except Strawberry but probably need some to balance out my stash of bakery flavors. Apple Pie is obviously one I'm ordering :D

Capella watermelon, rasberry and harvest berry are all great + both strawberrys. Also not exactly a fruit but lemon merange. I dont vape a lot of fruits really. Fw green apple is also very good.

I personally dont really think any flavors are daily vape quality as standalones but thats just me.

I like your saying :)

Well for the apple pie, I see some are just adding like a little ACV or lemon juice,or maybe some green apple.

So not really "stand alone" so much as not needing much to make it good.

I realize everyone has their own taste and recipes. So you for example might add 5 or 6 other flavors before considering it "finished".

I had a pretty crappy start with a bunch of Lorann's. Guess I'm just looking for a few easy / taste good starters to help keep my spirits and interests up.

I have a great recipe for cap apple pie called carapple cinna . Basically apple pie with a little fw caramel and cap cinnamon danish . You could also add a little green apple to it. It tastes similar to apple cinnamon oatmeal.

Noticed you added some EM. Gonna have to get me some.

That's another thing that really screwed me up at the outset. I just assumed "sweet flavors" would be sweet and not need any additional sweetener added. It was especially ba with the Lorann's.

Started out mixing things like chocolate and caramel expecting them to be sweet, but instead they tasted like burnt wood when I was done.

I've dealt with baker's chocolate before so it's not that big a surprise to have strong bitter tasting chocolate. But I've never tasted anything caramel that wasn't sweet. It is nothing but heated suger afterall LOL!

I mean butter tastes like butter, popcorn tastes like popcorn, I'd expect apple pie to be as sweet as apple pie damn it!

The exception here is that the Capella Flavor Drops for Water are the very same concentrated strength as their other drops. The only difference here is that they are sweetened with natural stevia flavoring. I did not realize that until an employee (Kevin) informed me that they are exactly the same but with sweetner.

From the Capella site:

Capella Flavor Drops for water contain a touch of natural Stevia(nutritional supplement) to bring out the fruit flavor.

Those water flavors are:
Blueberry Pomegranate
Wild Cherry
Concord Grape
Kiwi Strawberry
Orange Mango
Peach
Pear
Peppermint
Spearmint

Yup. Have you tried the wild cherry?

This is by far the best apple pie flavoring iv tried. Its a rich really sweet apple pie even by itself. Like the inside of a hot and juicy mcdonalds apple pie . 15% is perfect . ALso goes great with cinnamon danish, graham cracker and pumpkin spice. Im not a huge apple pie fan but this one is so real tasting which makes me like it as a vape.

With a little cinnamon danish and tart and sour it actually tastes like apple and cinnamon oatmeal

I know I'm way late replying to this, but I must agree about Capellas Apple Pie. It is fantastic. I looked all over for people trying make Apply Cinnamon and you're the only one I've seen mention mixing Apple Pie and Danish Swirl. That is a great combo. I love it at 20%ApplePie/10%Danish.. YUM
