i just wanted to make a quick post about this site:

Flavored water , flavor water , water flavor drops , Capella Flavor Drops , vanilla flavoring , bottled drinking water , flavor syrup , coffee flavors

i sent an email to them asking for some ingredient listings, and received a phone call from an employee named Tom.

let me tell you, Tom asked right away if i was going to be using them for ecigs :) apparently they've been getting more and more questions and orders for ecig users!

so, in speaking to him, he did confirm that they are PG based fluids, are water based (not oil based) and do not contain chemicals or preservatives. these drops are meant to be as "natural" as possible, and also do not have artificial dyes in them.

he was rather keen on the ecig phenomena as it were, seems he's spoken to plenty of people so far, and knew exactly what i was talking about when i asked questions.

that being said, i'm very curious now, and he even gave me some tips on what people have bought and mixed, and have reported back as tasting amazing... :)

hint...Coffee Bean.

i did forget what size the bottles are though, but it notes "600 drops" so that should be around 30ml but i'm asking to confirm, and i'll repost that info. (20 drops being roughly 1ml, 20 x 30 = 600 drops)

***update***
the bottles are verified to be 13ml.

the phone call was quite unexpected, but a very personal touch. i didn't get the sense that he was out for a buck, he was genuinely curious about it and had no qualms or issues with what we are using them for, and was very helpful to make sure they would fit my needs.

so there you go, at least my testimonial for the service, so when i get some of the flavors i'll give a review :)

I'm fairly new at this, but thats a huge amount of flavoring for 6 dollars, right?

ALSO: Where did you find the coffee bean? I can't find it anywhere!

see if this will take you to it:

Coffee Bean - *NEW

and yes, it's a lot of flavoring for 6 bucks (and 3 bucks for the clearance ones on sale). i'm still waiting on confirmation for the actual size of the bottle, but it does state "600 drops" on the page.

**update**

they confirmed the bottles are 13ml size.

i won't go into great detail (as there are other posts that do) but when you're mixing, you'll use a very small amount.

let's say you're mixing just a 1ml batch of fluid, most people use 10%-15% flavor in their mix.

so just as a very rough example:

1ml = 20 drops

20% - 4 drops - nic juice (about what i use, 36mg cut to 20% is about ~10mg nic give or take, not exact)

10% - 2 drops - flavor

70% - 14 drops - PG (propylene glycol)

=100% (20 drops, 1ml)

so, again, just a very basic mix, just to give you an idea of numbers. so yes, you'll be using a very small amount of the flavor compared to the other ingredients. best to invest in some unflavored nic juice, a lot of PG, and some flavor :)

everyone has preferences, but...

i get unflavored nic juice from www.eastmall.net - Eastmall International Co.,Ltd in 100ml batches.

i get 3ml plastic dropper bottles from Plastic Tanks, Plastic Buckets, Plastic Bottles, Labware, Plastic Tubing, PVC Pipe, Plastic Sheet - United States Plastic Corporation ®

and my propylene glycol, well, i got that at a local feed store, 1 gallon for $22 :)

there's a threat here somewhere that Walrus made about "do you like money?" that gives a clear breakdown of how much you'll spend to flavor a gallon of your own juice versus buying a gallon of commercial juice.

I got my order on Saturday and tried out a couple of the flavors. I haven't been using them long enough to notice any change or lack of performance from atomizers, but I can say - WOW the flavors are amazing.

I didn't have a lot of luck with the Loranns flavors. I also think that these are not quite as concentrated - but they really are pure flavor. I get no sense of "chemical" taste at all. ( Plus they are tasty in my coffee and water :D:D )

I'm really interested to hear of people's experiences with these flavourings.

Like Willowsong, I have not been impressed by Lorann's flavours at all. That may be down to using VG (PG is very difficult to get hold of here) or my Dura C, but I've been having a hard time getting any real flavour with Lorann's, even when mixing very carefully and conservatively. So an alternative supplier (they seem willing to ship to Europe) would be welcome if the flavours 'work'.

Please post your findings, if possible with some indication of what percentage of flavouring you are using (just like Flizanu above).

Thanks

I have 4 bottles I like the different flavs... I use the pumkin pie spice in my cinnamon e-liquid mmm... Do be careful I have heard some really cling to your atty

Just curious - going off topic here, but where did you get your cinnamon e-liquid and does it really TASTE like cinnamon? I bought some and I swear it is mis-labeled. It tastes EXACTLY like ROSE - yuck, yuck, yuck. I have been using a drop or so here and there with other flavors to use it up. Unfortunately I got 30mls....

Your help is appreciated.
Thanks

Nice going Flitz, seems to be a good find. I ordered some Butterscotch, Coffee, and Creme Brule. I also ordered some juice packs from Juicy Liquid, so I'll get to compare the two coffee flavors. I'm another non fan of Lorann's. I don't know what the deal is, but it's either way too strong or not strong enough...can't seem to find a good balance with their flavors. The liquid express flavors I ordered weren't all that great either. Not very strong by any means. I do have it from a reliable source that one of the suppliers on the forum is trying to get a 0nic concentrate at 5 times the normal strength. SO that might be interesting as well.

They are definitely not as concentrated as Loranns, but the flavor seems more... I wish I had the right words for it... more clean? more pure?

Like with the Loranns, some flavors are stronger than others. Using the choc raspberry I made 3mls. 50% 24mg nic unflavored, approx 20-25% capellas, 25ish% glycerin and 3-4 drops of vodka. It's a tad on the strong side. Did the same with root beer and it's a tad weak. Trial and error I suppose, but I like the flavors much better.
