Capella Flavor Drops

How do the Capella flavors compare to Juicy Liquid's flavors? Has anyone here tried both?

Some of the LorAnn flavors are pretty good (Cheesecake is probably the best) but they don't compare to Juicy Liquid's flavorings in my opinion. I am really wondering how JL compares to Capella.

Generally speaking, I like Capella flavors more than LorAnn. I've tried a couple JuicyLiquid flavors, and they are very good, but I haven't compared the same flavor between two companies.

I think that each flavor has to be considered, not the company as a whole. When I say that I like Capella more than LorAnn, that's accurate only 60% of the time. And LorAnn doesn't make a Toasted Almond, or Vanilla Custard, and Capella doesn't make a Keoke Coffee. So how can you compare the companies, really?

I guess that you could compare quality from a couple different directions - I think LorAnn uses too much artificial coloring, and Capella flavors taste more natural. But now throw FlavourArt into that mix - they do not use artificial coloring, and (so far) all of their flavors are *extremely* natural. But their Cream flavor is not for the faint of heart, so does that make them worse than LorAnn or Capella just because of that one flavor?


It's tough all around, really. It's difficult to compare the companies as a whole, I think. Compare/judge/rate each flavor individually.

yeah i used capella for my first DIY flavors. coconut was terrible, banana was alright.. tasted.. chemicly.

Coffee Bean was good, but weak.

cool mint is good. its not that "minty" but you get a cooling sensation which is nice

the french vanilla also has a "chemical" taste to it.
