For the cola I'm using 15%. Creme de cafe about 10% with 6% caramel.
I think the highest I went was 20-25% on Strawberry because I like it strong.
They are a big weaker than LorAnn's but stronger than Capella's imo
( keep in mind I like strong) I use about that on my Lorann's as well.
Capella's I was starting at 10% and worked up and got all the way to 40% to get to taste.

So with FF I'd say start at 5% and add up to taste , anywhere to 10-15% should do it for most.

Psychosis, even at $3.99 for .4 Oz compared to FF $3.99 for 2 Oz (FF gives 4x's the amount for the same price)
True that. Just pointing out the comparison is not quite so unbalanced. Ultimately because the flavors vary so much, and selection is different, you have to choose based on your own tastes.

I usually use Capella's blended with Lorann's just for layering flavors. More than 20% total makes it too watery. The Capella's I've tried (French Toast, Raspberry, Vanilla Custard) seem to be noticeable at around a 10% threshold; some take 15% to be potent. Then again I use a low enough nic level (12mg) that nicotine won't overpower a low % of flavor.

(The chocolate flavors were disappointing. I'm going to try Faeries Finest chocolate in the hopes of finding one that works finally.)

I'll second that.. your tastebud mileage may vary. I really love the FF's, and some of the LorAnn's ( Cinnamon roll=yumm) I can't stand Capella's.
My husband doesn't like the Capella's or FF and likes only LorAnn's .

Everyone's different and I suggest trying each to find what you like and what Strength you may like it at. I suggest writing down each experiment so if you find one you like you can replicate it later ( I found this out after doing the mad scientist thing and randomly adding and couldn't quite duplicate one mix again perfectly lmao)

I've heard good things on the Fudge Brownie Capella flavoring Psychosis. Got all my Capella's in yesterday, waiting on my PG/VG order to arrive on Thursday... Had my 100mg NIC sitting there for a few days. Can't wait to get started...

I've got to knock off MS T's Bananas Fosters Coffee. I'll go broke if I have to keep buying it from her. Since I started vaping that flavor, everything else runs a distant 2nd for me.. Tried her Choco Banana, didn't do it for me...

On another thought from a DIY Noob, are you all testing flavor recipes w/ straight PG/VG mixes, before adding NIC? I can't see wasting the NIC juice with the cost factor. Especially considering I bought a gallon of PG for $15, and .5 gallon VG for $7

Yep, experimenting with flavors I only use pg/vg and in small sizes. Usually around 1 or 2ml's.

So some time has passed and now I can vouch for Capella even though my initial tests were not that great. What I learned

As someone pointed out to me don't forget to shake before usage

Also the lower percentage of flavor used gave me much better results. I cant tell exactly but for 5ml I used about 4 drops doublechoc + 3-4 drops caramel, and 1-2 drops cool mint. However unlike my previous attempts I didn't vape it immediately but let it rest over night and the result is great.

They definitely need time to blend good with the overall mix so dont be too hasty with judgment like me.

I have also discovered that if something tastes odd at 10% flavoring, dropping it to 5% makes it taste great. To much flavoring can make juice bitter or plain nasty.

Since I stopped smoking my tastes buds are working WAY better.:w00t:

NOTE: I now use 5% flavoring be it Lorann or Capella.

I mixed up some of Capella's Chocolate Fudge Brownie the other nite and in my humble opinion...it is strong! I did a 5% and ended up dropping it to 3%. It is really good with a mocha cappuccino! I may try adding a drop of the splenda liquid to ramp up the sweetness a bit.

Where are you getting the FF at 3.99 for 2 oz's Never mind stupid question LOL
DKrom68, Capella is 13ml/.4 oz for $5.99, Fairies Finest 2oz for $3.99..
I'm hearing people using as high as 20% Capella to mix recipes. I have no experience with FF, do their flaves take even higher concentrations to bring out the flavor?
