Is anyone using this? I read a few posts in another forum and it sounded as though the v2 was a disappointment compared to the original v1. Some stated it had a strong alcohol note and others even said it smelled like nail polish remover.

Is there anything objectionable in the v1 that would prevent you from vaping it, or do you feel safe using v1? I'm new to diy but no stranger to having to "air out" and steep tobacco flavors that have had that alcohol based door. Any input appreciated.

I use v1 and know it's a concern to some as it does have some ingredients that are not great to vape. I don't vape it as an every day vape so I'm not too concerned. It's a personal preference but you should do research and decide for yourself. It seems that v2 is a disappointment to most that used v1. I am not qualified to comment on that because I've never tried v2. Most of all don't take someone else's word as to if it's safe or not do your research and decide for yourself.

I vape v1 every day, all day. In my opinion, it I hands down the most delicious flavor juice that I can make myself. The only juice I have ever liked more than it is banana custard from the devil juice line of Grand vapors. But, unfortunately, I can make about a liter for the price of a 120ml bottle, so I no longer buy it, or any juice for that matter. I feel safe vaping it, I mean, I smoked a pack and a half of cigarettes daily for about 16 years, it can't possibly be anywhere near as bad as that. As for Capellas vanilla custard v2, I have 1 word, NASTY! I was actually excited to try it when it 1st came out and immediately ordered a small bottle (luckily). Figured it had to be at least decent, being that v1 is so amazing, so I went ahead and made a 200ml batch as soon as it arrived. Needless to say, I have a 195ml bottle of v2 that has been steeped for months sitting in my TV stand in my bedroom, I can't vape it, it's absolutely disgusting. I can't even describe it, it completely boggles my mind that some people have switched to v2, I can't even stand it in a pinch. Come to think of it, the only flavors I ever vape are all Capellas, and all have the same ingredient/caution label at Bull city vapor (sugar cookie, vanilla cupcake, etc.) I guess I'm just a dessert flavor addict!

My first homemade juice that I fell in love with was Cap's VC V1 mixed at 20%. When V2 came out I tried it and found it had a much more complex flavor than the V1. I have vaped my VC V2 as my only juice for almost a year now. Same 20% flavoring as before, tho I have lowered my NIC from 18mg down to 6mg due to the fact I mostly drip now.....tho I am loving my new Subtank.
