Hey Hoosier. After reading your comment about too much popcorn flavoring tasting like cheesecake and too little cheesecake flavoring tasting like popcorn, I can't get the popcorn taste out of my mind no matter how strong I make it. Now, even the capella's cheesecake bottle smells like popcorn to me. Crap, even though it smells and tastes just like popcorn - ME WANTUM CHEESECAKE!!!

Just got my Cappellas order in, this stuff is amazing. Being completely new to DIY I made some sweet strawberry juice at about 15% with a couple drops of sucralose. Tastes great but it was missing something. Tried adding NY cheesecake but the strawberry is far too powerful to be mellowed with that. Thinking of cutting it with vanilla custard or cupcake. I got about 20 flavors, any cappellas recipes or recipe threads? Was looking to make a caramel popcorn, peanut butter cheese cake or other mixed flavor... What recipes/flavores do you recommend using sweetners, PGA or EM?

Thanks!

Anyone try their Bubble Gum? Is it like the pink gumball gum or more spearmint?

That's one Capella flavor that I do not like. It smells like Double Bubble but it has a chemical undertone that won't go away regardless of the strength. I was very disappointed. On a happy note, I'm sure someone else has tried it and loves it. Gotta love the world of flavor. You might like it.

Ok i upped the flavor to 10% on the chocolate brownie and i dont like it right now. I think 5-6% for me is the safe zone where I can taste everything going on. i even get that walnutty taste at the end at those percentages. Letting it steep makes the chocolate much more prominent too. At 10% and above the chocolate just gets so strong that it loses the nutty flavor. So from 5% is a nice creamy chocolate nutty taste but at 10% I would put it with a much darker chocolate taste with less nut flavor.

Now I just need to play with mixing other flavors from suggested recipes.

I just spent the last 2 nights, lunches at work and mornings reading this entire thread. I have so much vested now I have to try Capella's when I get enough knowledge and materials to try the diy.

I am expecting my first Ms T's order to be in the mailbox tomorrow after work, would it be safe to say if a person likes the Ms T juice they will like the Capella's flavors ?
I have been using juice from Pure Smoker and just got some MadVapes juice in tonight (have to try it) with some other supplies. With the Pure Smoker juice I originally got the 5ml size in a few different flavors, the next order I placed was for the ones I liked but went to a 15ml and I wasnt impressed, maybe my tastes are changing ? I have been doing the vape thing for about 6 weeks now, but no analogs!

Now if any instructors are located around the Maryland area that give diy classes shoot me a pm, otherwise Im off try and find the basic materials list to begin my diy journey.

Well your not gonna be making any mst quality juices right away . Her juices are super complex and tasty . Iv tried and failed many times . I can say that i do taste capella flavorings in a bunch of them so if you get good at diying capellas would be the flavorings you want .

As for Puresmoker ,I hate it so much i feel it should be banned . lol Also madvapes juice is usually really bad . I love madvapes but they need to work on their juices . No comparison to msts which is the best there is .

I think 10% was overwhelming to me as well, on the Choc Fudge Brownie. I am going to dial it down to 6% and try again. It was totally vapable, just not Chocolate Fudge Brownie!
So far it seems like my Capella mistakes are still better than a lot of premade juices! I can live with that, lol!

36TB - From coming over from TPA this is heaven sent lol. A mistake with TPA and you could end up vaping a perfume you would never wear. Cappellas is very forgiving compared to TPA. I made a couple from TPA that I couldnt even vape. I got them sitting right now under file 51 :p . CA stuff Its hard not to vape it right after you mix it.

Ok I like the Vanilla Custard as well but I think even at 5% it was very soft. I upped it to around 10% and still feel like there needs to be more flavor. Let it steep a second day at 10% just to be sure. I might let this sit over the weekend as well. Str8 you have done a lot of these flavors so I wonder if all of them need to steep a couple of days or more? Cinnamon Danish swirl I also upped to around 8% from 5%. I liked it at 5% but I just felt like the vanilla it could use more punch.

I think the vanilla custard is still weak at 15%. I mad a batch last week and tried it yesterday and it still isn't where I would like it. I'm going to try for 20% on the next batch.

Steeping capellas i find always makes them even better and brings out the true taste . Vanilla custard is right around the 15-20% range . By themself its not always gonna be super flavorfull . I usually use everything in mixes and a lot of time add EM or occasionally sweetener .
