I don't taste egg, but it just doesn't appeal to me for some reason...but I am going to continue to fiddle with the %'s til I like it....I don't give up easily...lol

What was your mxing ratios you have done so far? I been finding out these flavors get so realist at 15%. I thought for a little bit 5-10% was working well for me. Until I tapped into a batch of CFB I made almost a month ago at 15%. It was like I actually took a bite from a brownie it was really good. With that my next batches I will have to try to do the hot water bath again an record my results. I really need to get some glass bottles though. The ones I had broke :( so natural steeping is my only way right now. I make batches ahead of time so when I tap into a new batch it has already been sitting for a week or two. Though I do drip now to taste at the time of mix.

Ok, after an overnight sitting, filled up a cart, and damned good! the "fizz" sensation is really there. The lemon/lime taste is spot on. Will check again tomorrow if my 7up goes flat!

48hrs after initial mix, 7up still not flat! I'm carefull not to shake my PV too much tho:p

Sorry guys, didn't mean to interrupt your french toast love fest. Sounds yummy. Me, still on single flavors.

Quick update: vaping happily away on strawberry and cream and french vanilla, 10%, good on day 1.

Raspberry, great at 15% (upped from 10%), 2 days steeping.

Vanilla cupcake is now at 15%, but still tastes weak 2 days later. What percentage do you guys use? Or, do you just use it in a blend?

Peaches and cream - 10%, 2 days, still looking at me. I vaped too much yuck peach juice when I was getting desperate a week ago, and just can't face it yet.

Oh, and I used 90-95% VG, remainder distilled water, no PG.

REALLY happy with my first attempts at DYI, thanks to you guys. You're the best.

Morgan you might need to up the percentages if you use use that amount of VG. Nothing wrong with trying one flavor at a time til you get a feel for what it is and what not. Hugs doll--- I make some mixes too that I am afraid to vape too....LOL... but like you I vaped every single flavor alone to know what it is and if I like it or not first. :)

15% is indeed the magic number for the Capella's line. I know two suppliers who have confided in me that they mix ALL of their Cap's @ 15% regardless of what flavor it is. YMMV. If you mix it for a customer friend, it is better to mix it a little stronger than too weak - they can always add a little PG/VG, but if they don't have the flave, they can't make it stronger.

Iv been saying 15% for so long but nobody wanted to give it a shot lol. You could even go higher since unlike other flavorings capellas dont really go much into that overflavored perfume taste. You know capellas is overflavored when you can taste flavor residue on your tongue which usually happens at around 25% on most flavors.

Just another little note on the link above it is clearly stated that :

I started out at 10% on the Capella's and vaped it for months @ that percentage and was satisfied. When I amped it up to 15%, then I could see what all the hoopla about Capella's was about.

Here is the Capella's thread I started back in 2010. You'll recognize some of the names of the Veterans like Spaky, GoodDog, MaxUT, Ast_Isis, Sanfordf, AttyPops, etc. It was a fun thread. I'm glad you started this new one Str8.

@ GoodDog - remember this one, lol?

LOL Don't feel bad no one listens to me either. LOL Remember when people asked why I didn't tell anyone about Capella and I said I had tried? Now you understand, huh? LOL

Its not that I didn't believe ya STR8 its just that I had to find that out for myself. Since my first order I thought 5-10% was perfect for me. Until I made that CFB at 15% and let it steep for almost a month lol ( i forgot about it ). I think the best part of DIY is finding your happy place.

Wow Sea that's a great thread with a lot of good information. I miss some of those people and wish they were still around. It makes me wonder why some left ECF...are they still vaping?? We had some great experts back them, like Mark the pharmacist and others. It was a fun group, huh?

LOL, yes they were a fun bunch. Some of them are still around. I think Wench went to a different forum. Sanfordf has other interests. I used to go visit him at his worksite every couple of weeks. I haven't seem him for a couple of months.

I like this thread with it's very fun bunch of people.
