Grant, if it isn't Capella's Vanilla Custard be prepared to find a new favorite. LOL Capella's is so much better than any of the other vendors' I've tried that I have no doubt you will LOVE it. Did you buy any other flavors from Capella? If you read this thread you'll see how much they are loved plus they're the best quality you can buy IMO.

I can't put this Lemon Meringue Pie down today!! It replicates the good Meyer lemons that are used in good lemon pies!

Yes I did buy other flavours but mainly I got 5 Vanilla custard, an apple pie and cinnamon danish swirl, It was the VC I really wanted and was looking everywhere on the net, I then found this thread and in my head it confirmed it must be capellas they use because what they sold is so ....... lovely, then I found this and thought I'l try it as you all raved so much about it, and it was yourself gooddog on page 5 of this thread that I read, when you said and I quote (just checked to see who it was).....
"One of my 3 all day vapes is Apple Pie mixed with Cinnamon Danish Swirl with a little Vanilla Custard"
Hence me buying those flavours, so so far so good, Ive been waiting now for 1 week for my parcel, it will be here soon maybe 2day I hope and I will be back to you guys for recipes I think, but to start I just want my VC, but I suppose I would silly to not ask now, but what ratio then should I mix my danish swirl apple pie and custard

Could they maybe be out of something we all ordered. I was scolded a couple of days ago for inquiring about not having heard anything from my recent order so I'm glad to see that others are having the same thoughts. Forcomparison I ordered
Peanut Butter
Double Chocolate
Marshmallow
Chocolate Fudge Brownie
French Toast

Did anyone awaiting their product for more than a week order any of those flavorings?

They may be getting slightly backed up on some . With all the capella interest lately they must be doing a lot more orders. It was also a holiday monday so they were probably off.Also they came out with a few new flavors and have a few more coming out soon.

Yeah, gotta consider the Monday holiday for one. But what doesn't make sense is, I'm hearing people's orders taking longer both on ECF and from my buddy...yet the last 2 orders I placed have arrived in 3 days tops. And both were ordered in the past week.

Looking forward to anything new they add to their flavors. I'm finally getting the hang of the DIY thing. The apple cider vinegar in some mixes is the magic bullet for me.

I did not order any of those and am still waiting for my order to be shipped! I am in no hurry and when I first ask the question of there shipping time was only wondering if there really this slow and it looks like the answer is (YES) if your new to them otherwise its there in 3 days!

Did you go with first class shipping or priority shipping or UPS . Priority is usually arrives in 4-5days . First class 5-7 and UPS 7-8 days

I am a hour and a half drive away so in my case I don't think that is the issue along with that it needs to be taken to a post office and shipped in the first place to even start its journey. I have e-juice coming out of my ears right now (A LOT) so if it takes,,,GEEZ six months I am good but only dying to see what all the hype is on the VC & strawberry! I just passed the 8th day tho...

Have you emailed then as well? I have always received my order within three days and I live in chicago. They are usually very good at emailing people back on their orders.

I just received my order today. Of course I had to open them and smell them all right away! lol OMFG the Sweet Strawberry just about knocked me on my a**!!! It's the perfect true to strawberry flavor. I'm in LOVE!!!


PS. I'd ordered on the 17th, so including the holiday took about a week to get to me, not bad imo.

Ohh sounds lovely, and that is what I am going to do, but what is EM please GoodDog??

EM is ethyl maltol. It's the same thing as Cotton Candy but in crystal form. Mixed at 1/4 tsp per 10mL of PG = Cotton Candy. It's used to add body and some sweetness at higher levels. 1-2% is recommended but I sometimes use more.

Ooooo, I made this too & it's wonderful. Almost a "buttery-ness" to it.

Some preliminary updates:

I've added 1-2 drops per 5 ML of hazelnut, milk choc toffee, and caramel to some tobacco mixes I have

I know everyone says capella's does best at ~15% for standalone or cap only mixes

But in the context of these tobacco mixes, I have to say the 1-2 drop level is A LOT. Almost too much!

Def adds depth and sweetness however. I'm going to try and keep it to 1 drop for 5ml and see how it goes. Maybe I'll mix up something purely desert like to see how they work on their own.

Just to let everyone know that driving over there saves only shipping time. Capella's process the orders in the order they are received. When I choose to drive over there, I still wait the full time of processing in line with everyone else before they call me. Their admin bldg where I pick up is not like a storefront. It is a double doored, locked office. To even get in, you have to go up and ring a bell. If you're not expected, you have to talk through an intercom, then Tom comes out and unlocks the door. The first time I went there, I waited out in the outer foyer for Tom to bring me my product. After that, he allowed me into the admin storeroom. I think it's b/c with shelves of product shipping out, they just don't want children in that area.

Also, the manufactuting facility is separate from the admininstration office, and the admin is where I pick up from. Tom has offered me a tour through the mfg facility, but I'm not really interested - plus I'm always in a hurry it seems.
