Quick question. How many drops of Capella flavor straight out of their bottle equals 1 mil please?

After posting this I see on their website that they say there are 225 drops per 13 mil bottle. So, that would make it about 17 drops per mil. Has anybody done the actual measuring and found that to be about right?

Thanks!

It varies with about 10 different variable . temp, age, type of flavor etc. Its much more accurate to just go by ml and not drops. On average capellas bottle are around 35-40drops per ml . Iv measured a couple at like 47drops per ml and another at 25drops per ml though

I got the lemon merange pie flavor yesterday and mixed up 12 ml with 70%PG 30%VG 18% flavor and added 3 drops of sweetner. I only let it steep for a couple of hours. I put some LMP juice in my 3.7 ohm Fliuxo vaped at 6.5 Watts on my Darwin and LMP has to be the best flavor I have ever tasted!! I loved it so much that I ordered a 4 oz bottle of the flavoring. To me it tastes spot on like actual lemon merange pie. The only taste that is missing is the crust. My favorite LMP is one that has graham cracker crust so I am going to try adding a small amt of graham cracker flavor to the mix. Anyone that hasn't tried this flavor and of course likes LMP should try it.

Funny how taste buds are different, I mix it at 15% too, and at the first puff, the dominant flavor was the graham crackers! the only diff in my mix with yours, is that I didn't use sweetener but 4 drops of tart and sour in a 10ml batch, the lemon taste is only coming on the final, specially if I exhale by the nose...

I was just getting around to answering the same question. If I'm doing Str8's "drop vape test" then I use 2 pipettes that have the exact same drop count. I do not use syringes for the tests. I find the matching pipettes by dropping H2O into a graduated cylinder until it reaches 1 ml. This method works for me.

Well I gave my wife a taste of my LMP at 12% without telling her what it was. It's truly amazing how different people taste different flavors! She said it tasted like Hazelnut!!! When I mentioned that I tasted a little coconut she agreed. When you KNOW what the flavor is supposed to be, I find that I tend to taste those flavors. Try it. Have someone taste a juice without telling them what it is and see what they say. I guess the true test of a juice is when the flavor can be immediately identified correctly in blind taste tests. I guess my DIY skills need improving!!

I have my husband blind taste things all the time...he's a heavy smoker and plays at vaping now and again. He has no idea what the flavors are that I'm handing him, and some of the things he tells me he's tasting are HILARIOUS!

That's like having Willie Nelson blind test a cigarette!

I have only tried LMP in a CE-2/Fluxo. I think its possible some of the taste variation has to do with the atomizer/carto that is being used and of course the watts/volts being sent to the coil. I am sure LMP will taste different in a dual coil or Boge. In the past I have tried a Boge and then took a vape from a CE-2 Delux and I could tell the flavor from the Boge wasn't as clean as the CE-2. I have a box of brand new Boges so I might try filling on up with LMP.

I don't taste any graham cracker/crust at all but can taste a bit of what I call the bland pie crust taste. On the inhale I get mostly a lemon taste and on exhale the merange really comes out strong. I have already vaped most of mine 12 ml bottle I made not even 24 hours ago! I like sweet juices so that is why I added the sweetner. If you are looking to really enhance the lemon flavor you can add some FlavourArts Lemon Sicily flavor. I tried to make my own LMP mix using the F Lemon Sicily and their merange flavor and some graham cracker but never could nail it down like Capella's has done. I used 18% flavor. Since you tried 15% flavor try bumping it up to 18% and see if that makes a difference. LMP has become my all day vape as LMP is my favorite pie dessert :p

Woo Hoo! Finally got my first ever Capellas order in! Can't wait to make a watermelon juice, i've heard such great things. Going for a jolly rancher taste, gonna try it at about 15%

Flavors I picked up:

Sweet Watermelon... dur... haha, Boston Creme Pie, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Chocolate Glazed Donut, Klua & Cream.

I also made a comment about how I had never tried Capellas and if they give free samples I'd be interested in Vanilla Custard(since everyone here seems to rave about it I wanted to know what the fuss was about). To my surprise they threw in a whole 13ml bottle of Vanilla Custard! Awesome points all the way!!

So far I haven't made juice but I did add about 12 drops of the Vanilla Custard into my coffee( I drink big cups ) Not bad. Very familiar taste like "I've tasted that somewhere before in a candy" Defiantly gave me a good idea of how it might help some juice.

I also made some homemade lemonade. Just some lemon juice and a couple spoonfuls of Stevia. Added 15 drops of Sweet Watermelon to it. It's so yummy. Really great watermelon flavor. Very real watermelon to boot, tastes great. I may be a Capella convert.... Even if I can't work with it to make juice, it's nice to know the flavors are still safe to come in handy with coffee and perking up your water.

Just wanted to ask Str8 about mixing nic juice at the end or the begining and what effect does it have doing either way? I didn't think it would matter the order of adding nic, vg,pg and then flavor. For me its I start with the nic > then add VG > Then add PG ( at this point my syringe is pretty much cleaned and can be stored right after ) > then flavoring ( using a separate syringe for this always ).

Well ToweKnee, I'm not Str8, but a few ppl like to put their flavorings in the bottle and let them steep together for a few minutes to an hour and then add the other ingredients. I don't like to let the flavorings touch the 100mg I use - afraid it will fry the flavorings - may be totally wrong here, lol.

I wished I got the Watermelon over the Vanilla Custard, sure sounds good to me! So far out of the 5 flavors I got I think the VC is one I have no need for and may trade off with some one for it HOWEVER everything else is a real treat with strawberry a fav of the 5 then Toasted Almond and caramel with snickerdoodle coming in 4th. I think I will stick to capella's fruit flavors being I am not so hot for the other stuff - that's just me! Peach, Strawberry, Watermelon etc all say yummy....

So far i'm not too impressed by VC however that's not completely fair yet because I haven't made juice.

Did make the Fudge Brownie. Had to up it to 20%. Its OK so far, but I just made it. Very possible it has to steep. The watermelon juice is great and I think i'm going to get hooked on the flavor in my water and vape. I agree their fruit so far seems great and I defiantly want to try more of that kind of flavor.

Very impressed by Klua& Cream! Super sweet, touch of coffee but not overpowering. If I need something to slap my sweet tooth that's gonna be it.

Brownie has to steep for a while . It just gets sweeter and richer every single day for a good week or two. Add some VC to the brownie and you got yourself a nice vape .The Vc brings out the creamy and fluffyness of a real brownie. I ALWAYS add vanilla and sometimes marsmallow to all chocolates.

Thanks for the tip. I was thinking of adding some VC to it but did want to know if brownie tasted good all by itself. I'm also thinking of mixing chocolate brownie and chocolate glazed donut.... mmmmm..

Do you think I should add 5% or 10% of VC to choc fudge brownie?

Str8, do you have testers of all three of the new flavors coming out, or just the Sugar Cookie? Please and thank you.

I got to see the new labeling when I was over at Capella's today, and it is beautiful! The new features are a gradient label going from White to Wine color; a bar code; and a warning to keep away from open flame. Their lot nos. are still on each bottle, which I'm glad to see.

Here & There
For the Capella's ranks, I wrote them this week and asked why the bottle says "product of America" and not "made in America" with the city and bottling location on the label-- and does that mean the base ingredients are from elsewhere, is the product made elsewhere and rebottled, etc. etc. Never got a reply so I guess that is my answer.

The FTC has specific rules for labeling I know that. I wanted a little more clarity about that but apparently they didn't want to give it. No snarky replies please just stating the term "product of America" is a bit murky and I wanted to know what the distinction is and what they had to say about their product.

The three new flavors will be Sugar Cookie, Cake Batter and Hot Cocoa. I will try them out tomorrow and let you know what I honestly think.:)

I'm glad you emailed him, but you won't hear back from him for at least a week unless his assistants answer for him. He is on vacation now. Maybe you could re-send that same email every day you don't get a reply. That's what I do when I don't get answers - I just keep sending every single day until they get so blasted sick of seeing it that they answer it. Randee will answer it if you call the toll-free Capella's number and choose Sales when you get the option.

I asked Tom the very same question, Shiloh, and he answered me to my satisfaction, but I think it is best if you ask him for yourself. You may be more tactful than I was. I just asked him, "Tom, do you use any flavoring molecules from China? He was absolutely horrified, lol.
