I already vape a black raspberry daily without the same issues.

I guess I am wondering if capellas is a issue for me. I guess I will have to keep trying their flavors.

I also wonder if it is something in them or maybe the % or something else? Any thoughts?

I use and love many of Capellas flavorings. Their raspberry is not one that I care for at all.

But, I never find the need to mix any of their flavorings above 10%. If I did, I would not use them.
I am a firm believer that the less flavoring you are able to use, the better. As stated earlier, nobody knows what the long term effect of flavor inhalation will be. If you have a reaction to any flavor you should avoid it IMO. Could be an allergic reaction or something that your body is trying to tell you about that particular flavoring.

I have been vaping 15% raspberry for a while now, and I agree - it does seem to be becoming too strong, almost peppery, over time. I just mixed a little unflavored nic juice with some 15% raspberry in the tank, and I'm liking like the weaker taste better.

Gonna mix some up weaker stuff and throw it in the steeping box for a while.

So, I have been diluting them out some with unflavored nic juice. Easy for me, as I do the dilution right in the filler-less cartos I use. That fixes the problem for me.

The next time I mix up these flavors, I will try 10% and let them sit for a while before use, see how that goes.

I did. thanks for the reply. The only strange thing is that I tested after just three days of steeping. I might mix another at 10% and see if the same thing happens.

How do I get my Snik Snak to taste like a Snik Snak? I have it in a 100% VG 26mg Nic base. The flavoring is about 10% right now and it tastes like, well... nothing. PG is not an option. Thanks

I don't know about that particular flavor, but a lot of people seem to recommend 15% as a starting point with most Capella's. (I use 12% as a starting point, and I use 80% PG). So, with all VG, it seems like you'd need to start somewhere above 15.

Wanted to pop in and say how much I'm enjoying vanilla cupcake (20%) today.

It's subtle, slightly creamy, slightly sweet. Just the thing for when I've killed my taste buds with Boba's or something.

It's a comfort vape!

Yikes! 15 and 20%. Didn't think of going that high. I'll try it and see what happens. Maybe i'll add a little EM if it gets around 20%

We have Snik Snak! I'm pretty close to 20%. I had to add a couple of extra drops of flavor to the calculation because the VG drops were visibly bigger than the flavor drops. I may add some EM because instead of a milk chocolate I'm getting dark chocolate. The Nic is pretty high 30mg, but it's not making me cough. Very rich and very good.

Mixed some Snik Snak at 15% in 50/50 20 mg. With no (maybe an hour) steeping, it is rich and nutty. I think I like it, a lot! I usually go for more subtle flavors, but the Capelas is changing me. I also mixed Sweet Tangerine (10%) and Lemon Meringue Pie (5%) in the same base, and it is really nice. This is my first Capelas, but definately not my last!

I make this for a friend of my son cause he likes it, I mix 15% Snik Snak, 8% Caramel & 8% Toasted Almond. I like snik Snak with sweet strawberry - Taste to me like Choc covered cherrys! A menthol would go good there too!

That is what he likes - Like I said its not for me! He is still a smoker and his taste buds are,,,gone at this point but he is almost 20 and I am working on him to Vape and quite the analogs! I did tell him his taste will return in time.
Also snickerdoodle is something he asked for even though I wanted him to do the tobacco's while he still smokes so he can have a good replacement. Hey but what ever works RIGHT?
