Okay, I've followed this thread for 12 days and exhibiting what I think was great self-discipline in not ordering anything. But then I saw the comment on Capella's site that the sale was about to end and I immediately caved, lol. Ordered:

Apple Pie
Coconut
New York Cheesecake
Pralines and Cream
Double Fudge Brownie
Marshmellow

Oh, and I'm sending you all the bill. You can decide for yourselves how to split it up.

You know...I've been so tempted by the skeptics to post somethin like 'I will buy them from you if you don't like them!', but I figure with some of the a holes that exist in the world, SOMEBODY, or a lot of somebody's with my luck would find a way to take advantage and pave me a road to shame, humiliation and the poor house! BUT, they ARE that good

lol .I am kinda a post ..... lately . I get excited when i find new hobbies i like .Someone had to get this section going . When i started DIYing a few months ago their was only like 2 threads per day here now theres like 20 . Lots of new DIYers lately . Hopefully with all the recent attention we can find some tricks to making really good juices .

You've been wonderful for the DIY section! It use to be a lot more active and then it just died out when Nikhil became a vendor. I appreciate your enthusiasm and have been enjoying it here much more since you came along.

Thank doggie . I was wondering why it got less active .From looking at old threads i can see it use to be booming .Now if we can only get the flavor review section moved over to the DIY section .

Following up on my earlier post with some reviews.

Popcorn and butter. Can't put this stuff down. OMG. Made 3ml at about 15% flavor with just a couple drops of the butter. This stuff is crazy good.
Chocolate coconut almond is very good. Just like it sounds.
Chocolate fudge brownie is very chocolatey. Almost seems like a chocolate ice cream to me but still fantastic.
Waffle is dead on. Cant wait to mix this with a strawberry or blueberry. May even try a PB&J waffle.
Haven't tried the amaretto yet.

By far the best flavorings I have tried to date.

Btw i finally decided on my all time fav capella and that is Sweet Strawberry . Im vaping some right now and there really is no strawberry juice or flavoring that compares . I can taste every part of a real strawberry even the seeds . Its so sweet and delicious . I havent made one juice with it that came out anything but perfect . Just made some strawberry cheese danish that off the hook

You guys be sure to let them know what flavors you want them to work on. They have a place to request flavors but it does take them a long time before they put them up for sale and not everything comes out to their standards. I know they were working on a black cherry because I got a sample of it but I don't know what happened.

For anyone that likes Boston Cream Pie that's another one that's spot on.

PS: Its not only STR8 who keeps DIY alive, he just likes the attention We all make recipes but apparently they are no good if we don't use this brand

I have never received a shipping notification from Capella, but Dec. 12th is much too long.. Somethings definitely wrong with your order if your'e in the U.S.

LOL Yeah, they aren't as cheap to vendors because their ingredients are the best and cost more. They don't have the profit margin to reduce the price to vendors and that's what makes me wonder what ingredients some of the other flavor vendors are using. I know perfume ingredients are similar and much cheaper. Just sayin'.

It's a fact that recipes using many of the other flavor vendors' aren't as good. Try making a waffle mix using TFA then using Capella. That's a good example of the difference.

I made a White Cake with Coconut Frosting using equal amount of Coconut and Vanilla Cupcake with lots of EM. It came out very good! I also made a Strawberry Cheesecake using Strawberries and Cream (40%), since I didn't have any Sweet Strawberry left, and NY Cheesecake (60%) with lots of EM and 3 drops per 15mL of Tart and Sour. The Tart and Sour seemed to make the Strawberry pop more. I didn't give them time to steep before trying them and they are good without steeping.

St8, they were working on a Cookie and an Oreo Cookie because I had those samples but they weren't perfect yet at the time. I hope they do make those!!! They use to have a place on their site especially for vapers but they took it down. It's my belief they got some slack from the competition or their fans and it wasn't worth all the trouble.

Shilo no like me lol . Just because i like Capellas the best doesnt mean i dont use other brands as well . I have tons of TPA/TFA , FA,Loranns,FW and DIYFS too that i use . I use them in almost every juice i make and dubbed them my tweakers/Spices .I feel i NEED all of them to be able to make what i want . I also make juices just using them if theres no capella version of it . This is a Capellas thread though so of course you gonna hear lots of Capellas talk here lol

Im not pushing Capella's on anyone but anyone that does try them can agree there's a superior quality there and for that i will of course recommend them .

Hmmm, I think you got the intention of this thread wrong, we didn't say that the other brand were all bad, we just saying that for a beginniner at DYI, it's alot easier as the margin of error is easier to deal with with Capellas....

Haha yea but Capellas Definitly needs a cookie flavoring even if its just generic cookie . They also really need a good cinnamon sugar spice . They have CDS and cinncoffeecake but i dont always need the danish or cake part of it so a regular cinnamon is a MUST expecially since i still dont have a regular cinnamon . The funny thing is i have like 8 different cinnamons but no regular cinnamon except for my DIY extraction which isnt the best .
