icebob, thank you for putting your recipe (%) up & not just saying... I mixed cin danish swirl with vanilla custard & it was so great! lol I have been reading this thread for ever trying to find recipes for capella flavors!! ....Finally, one I can save & actually try.

BTW can anyone tell me if there is a thread for recipes for Capella flavors somewhere? If there is I cant find it & If not, I think it would be a great thing to start especially, for us new to DIY.
Finally had time to play a little, ended up being good enough to fill up a tank!
15% Cinnamon danish swirl
2% Vanilla custard
1% EM
Really yummy, good cinnamon taste but not too strong, just mellow! That's what I'm gonna be vaping at the hockey game tonight!

There is no recipe database solely for capellas . Most use more then one flavor company in there recipes . If you do a search for me in the recipe section you will find a lot of recipes i posted and most are using capellas flavorings .

If you taste each flavor separately, which you should be doing anyway, then you will know which ones you want stronger and which should be weaker in a mix. It's easier to make a mix just for your tastes this way and will teach you the correct way to make your own creations. Using someone else's recipe won't necessarily match your tastes so that's why I do it that way. It's good practice for new DIYers and won't get you dependent on other's recipes.

What would be a good place and mix to start out with testing? 3ml, 5ml....with or without nic? I have 12 flavors coming, and plan on starting out at 10% on each and adjusting from there.

Say if you want a flavor to come off as more of an undertone, a secondary flavor....what's a good place to start? 2-5%?

For taste testing each flavor I just use contact lens cases and place enough drops of base for 10% flavor in one side and 15% in the other side, but I like my flavors strong. After i mix it I pull it up with a syringe and drip it in an atty. That gives me an idea of the strength of the flavor, especially if I do the same equations for all of them. That way I know if it needs to be weeker or stonger in my mixes.

I find dessert mixes aren't complex like tobacco and there's a wide range I can be off and it still tastes good. I don't have the patience to count drops or worry about it being exact and mostly go by taste. When I make a 30mL bottle of a mix if it isn't exactly like the previous one I can taste what it needs more of and add it after it's sat a day or so because I know what each flavor tastes like. I mark a mixing bottle with .5mL and mL on the sides with a permanentt marker and use that for most of my recipes. It may not always be drop exact but it's close enough.

Not sure if this is in the correct thread but here goes. I just purchased 12 flavors and 2 of them are so so for me, Klua & Cream and the Cinnamon Coffee cake. Would like to trade for 2 other capella flavors that I might like. .9ml has been taken from each flavor(15% flavor for a 6ml mix). Neither are awful it's just I am not a big cinnamon fan and I already have the FA Kahlua & cream which is just as good to me. Any traders? PM me.

Just made a Peppermint Ice Cream that tastes almost dead on like KBV's with Capella's Peppermint and Cool Mint mixed with some TPA. Mmm...it's almost perfect fresh.

Sent from my HTC Buzz Pro using vapatalk.

:w00t:.....please post that one when you get it dialed in! That's my all day vape!

Thanks to this thread, I ordered a 6-pack of these a week or so ago. I'm pretty impressed with these little things that pack a big punch.

They are almost too strong for my liking. I often mix 3ml bottles of e-liquid, and can't really take more than about 3 drops total in that, which makes it hard to proportion flavors. I suppose that I'll end up making mixtures with VG, which I can then add to my nic juice to taste.

I have found food coloring in one or two. I've always thought that food colorings were stupid and unnecessary contaminants, period. I'll have to look more carefully at future orders.

I bought these:

1st Flavor: Cappuccino
2nd Flavor: Double Chocolate
3rd Flavor: Toasted Almond
4th Flavor: Root Beer
5th Flavor: Sweet Strawberry
6th Flavor: Vanilla Custard

So far, I haven't gotten to the Root Beer yet. Though it does sound good to me, I don't expect that I'll mix it with anything else, and I've been having fun mixing.

The Sweet Strawberry is quite nice, and mixes well with other fruits. The Vanilla Custard seems especially strong, and makes me a bit ill. Oh well. One drop is good in a large cup of coffee, though. :)

The cappuccino, chocolate and toasted almond are great in a 3-2-1 ratio, respectively. Pretty good in any combination, really.

I'll probably order more. My wife likes to add the cappuccino to her cups of coffee, too.
