I love my vanillas...van custard is great alone and with fr van...glad I can taste them...lol
Just received my order and of course had to give them all a good sniffin'. Is it just me or does the Graham Cracker smell exactly like CC's House Blend? It's gonna be hard to steep this overnight.
Has anyone come up with some good recipes with the Graham?
I totally agree on the FA. Cyrus vapes high VG so I'm not completely shocked he needs a higher percent of FA. Amount of VG and tastebuds are really going to factor into each person's ideal amount.
I vape the custard with the french vanilla, EM and a small amount of marshmallow to soften it as my Vanilla vape. I do believe it can be fine as a stand alone with the ACV as you suggested or perhaps a couple drops Tart and Sour. Nothing wrong with wanting and creating a simple easy beasy vanilla vape.
...mmmm me too..I like the French Vanilla for a nice easy vanilla vape too, but for me vanilla custard isn't about vanilla...it's about rich, creamy custard!
I like the French vanilla mixed with the cheesecake. mmmmmm.....
omg lol!!!!!!!!you know i have to say, i have a new theory on oakwood and mts...
I think oakwood is the m and the s without the t...
Unfortunately i added a third drop to see what would happen and it just murdered the ta and the va...
Explains why they have a similar color and smell! Explains why anything more than two drops of oakwood have always led to mud for me...
Sorry forgot this was the capella's thread
time for stiff drink

I also posted this on the Capella DIY thread.
Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble problem. I just can't get enough of any flavor & seems it hollow. I used BCC at 15% in 80/20 with 3% EM & 2% lemon juice (I use LJ when I'm baking blueberry anything in the kitchen.) I thought this would be a good standalone flavor. Did I counteract the sweetness/flavor with the lemon juice? It's been steeping since Saturday. Figured that 5 days would be enough.
So HELP!!! Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks BB - I'll give that a try - water down to 5%. Should be easy enough. Good thing I only made a 3 ml test batch.I personally found BCC to be a really strong flavor even at 5%! One that leaves a nasty after taste I don't care for.
Try mixing at 5% and see if you can taste it?
added: oh, and you shouldn't have to steep to taste it. You'll gain a bit of fullness and depth with steeping but you should get flavor right off the bat. At least that's been my experience with Cap flavs...

Shall do. I can't imagine with what everyone has said about Capella that I've overflavored at 15%, but who knows. It's rare I think with Capella, but you might have gone past your 'taste threshold'. Let us know if it helps? It might help someone else too![]()
Haha yea theres two recent thread where i posted pics of the amount of flavoring i have now .Ill try to find them . Just think about 20x whats in that pic or about 2 36"x16" drawers and a table full . Iv learned a ton since then . When i posted the pic above iv done a lot of research but havent done anything yet but everyday since then iv been spending all my free time mixing and reading old threads . Out of the 100+ flavors i have i probably have used everyone of them in at least one mix . I dont know why but when i get into a hobby i really get into it and try to learn everything possible . Id say iv had to at least done 50 or more mixes ,some serious others just playing around seeing what flavors work together . Thats not counting testing every one of my flavorings individually .
The funny thing is in the picture above i only liked about 4-5 of those flavors. I cant imagine what hoosier has since hes been doing it for much much longer than me .
Heres some pics of my flavorings . I also have a box of flavorings that i dont use much and about 20 more in the drawer since i took these pics . I also have another drawer with the rest of my supplies as well as a table and fridge for nic and pg/vg . I have 3 full rows of Capellas now too and use them the most .

Also have a steeping drawer with lots of juice i made .
haha you did good . Im sure you will love them . Let me know how the kalua and cream is . I almost bought that one my last order . Since their flavors are as realistic as i found anywhere im thinking that one will be amazing even by itself . Popcorn is soo good . The only thing weird about using it by itself is it taste much better in a atty then it does in a carto .
Im sure the first time you try the stawberrys you will be raving about them forever . They are that good .
Yeap Bostons, you were rightIt's rare I think with Capella, but you might have gone past your 'taste threshold'. Let us know if it helps? It might help someone else too![]()
I had to read your post again but very slowly to "get it."
I don't like capella's! Since I got my order I have not had to toss ANYTHING and this just is not right. I now have lots of idea's of new and fun mixes and now I need more Flavor Concentrate so that means more pg/vg nic orders too! Pestering the post man, checking tracking numbers, Keeping more notes and then finding my new favorite just to find another n e w favorite...it never ends - Does it? NO NEVER! Can someone just please turn time around so I can just go back to mixing tobacco's that may turn out with perfume and chemical scents so I don't half to say "oh well I'll just break out the snickerdoodle for a bit" This is too easy and I don't want to clean up my language and the trash guy needs a job too for heaven sake...say the Carmel, Vanilla custard, Toasted Almond make a nice mix <------You see? There I go again!!!

Digging through the older posts in this thread, I found this. I love it! He also just won a super deluxe DIY kit. Another drawer needed?
