Answering my own post is a little strange but to me it is a valid question and one I need an opinion on. If it's just too dumb a question to answer feel free to let me know. Even a small amount of feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

"Question about the influence of nicotine. I made about 4 flavors first part of last week. One was 50/50 Sweet Strawberry and Vanilla Cupcake. On the day they were mixed I put them all in a water bath and let the water come to room temperature without the tops on them. Last night was the end of the 4th day so I put 3 drops of mix in an atomizer to taste it and it tasted really good. Sunday morning early I added nic to just this one mix and let it sit all day. I retasted it right around midnight Sunday night and it tastes really crappy. Using ejuicemeup as a calculator I made 10ml of juice @ 70/30 PG/VG. 1ml SS, 1ml VC. Desired nic % was 10. So what is the deal with nic juice?"

I usually mix from the beginning with nic - I haven't yet found any capellas flavor to be irredeemable, so don't worry about wasting nic liquid.

That being said, I just yesterday put a bunch of mixes to steep without nic, as I realised I was running short. We shall see.

Intuitively, it doesn't seem right that good nic alone would do this. Do you know about the purity of the stuff you are using? Where did you get it?

99.7 from Xtreme Vaping. 36mg/ml diluted down to 10%. At this point I have Banana Pudding and French Toast that smell awesome without nic and I'm afraid to add any 'cause it's just not working for some unknown reason. Thanks.

Have you used this nic before? Anyone else used it?

Have you tried vaping the diluted down nic alone to see what that tastes like?

So the nic has been diluted down to 3.6mg/ml? and that is being added to good tasting juice afterwhich it becomes bad tasting juice?

(Sorry if this is a silly question, but the sentences I quoted don't make perfect sense to me.)

Just received 15 x 13 ml Capella flavors. I can't judge them yet. But they are not "Shake and Vape" . I still get some perfumey taste with some flavors. I think they need some steeping.
Should not be getting any perfumy taste from them even when overflavoring . How are you mixing them ? Which flavors? maybe i can help.

I've got my uncle on e cigs, he's been smoking something like 45 years, multiple failed quits

Yet he hates every tobacco vape I offer him.

His favorite is 2 drops each of TA and Peanut Butter, 4 drops Caramel, 1 drop
Vanilla custard in 10 mls at 30 nic. He calls it "that chocolate factory s**t" LOL

I mixed the Horchata at 8% (according to your suggestion) and it was very perfumey/chemical ,and stayed like that. The Choc. Glazed Dognut and Milk Choc Toffee were perfumey at first , but turned out very nice after couple of hours.
