Placed second order in 2 days. ;)

I didn't notice shipping on first order but they charged $9.66 to ship 11 bottles to TX using PARCEL POST! Dang. Had to reorder, though--missed the Chocolate (brownie, doughnut and cocoa), Golden Pineapple and Vanilla Custard.

ECF vets-- leads to good Capella threads?

Wow, really? 9 bottles here shipping to NY for $3.91 - did you get bigger bottles? I just ordered the smallest ones. My first order was 6 bottles for $3.40

13gram ea

and I checked shipping for 1st order--the same--$9.66. Only difference is that 1st order has 23 bottles vs the 11 of 2nd. Maybe the price increases (triples) when you reach 10 bottles.

Shipping, in general is ridiculously expensive and keeps getting worse.
I gave into temptation (big surprise) and placed an order. Really don't need to be spending more money.... but I need a good raspberry (don't care for the one from Lorann's) and this sale is pretty fantastic. Sooo I ordered
Raspberry
Coconut (Hoosier said it was BOMB)
French Vanilla
Sweet Watermelon (read it tastes like Jollyranchers)

Stopped there as I already have flavors I don't like/use. I'm not sure I'm a huge fan of them either. Have only tried Sweet Strawberry, Cinnamon Coffee Cake and Vanilla cupcake. Of those, the only one I didn't much care for was the coffee cake and even that wasn't horrible.

I believe you have to go priority or parcel post. US shipping is stupid and finicky. Don't even get me started.

<disclaimer> Not trying to get you started ;)

I really am ignorant. I thought it was (in order of pricing): parcel, first class, priority. Regardless, that's a lot of money to ship such a light package.

The GOOD news is... I have 20 new flavors to play with!!

well, over 13 oz, is not 'light' as far as their concerned. You are correct with the order of the shipment times. I could be wrong that you can do parcel post but I'm pretty sure you can, just takes forever. Whereas Priority mail is more expensive. Maybe the PO just can't guarantee the time involved for the price listed on First CLass Mail? So you either pay more or wait longer. Am I making any sense?
I can't stand the PO. I send everything via Paypal, just print out the slip through there and drop the stuff off in the mailbox. I LOATHE standing in line at the PO and just dealing with them in general. Problem is, they are making it more and more difficult to ship things VIA paypal. Like for instance, you used to be able to print shipping labels out of the country but now you HAVE to go to the PO. Why? No clue. To give the workers something to do?

I checked, and you can order up to 14 bottles and still have first class... after 14, you have to upgrade to parcel

Thanks Drew. Do you think that $9.66 is a fair price for 11 13ml bottles?

Edit: Perhaps that question should be rhetorical :) I'll contact company to clear this up.

It's hard to say. We would have to know how much it weighed and fluid ozs don't convert well to pounds. I will tell you that when I get my VG and PG, if I get the 250ML sizes for both, I'm paying no less than $8. However, 13x11 is 143 which is significantly less than the 500ML plus I'm getting when I pay the $8 shipping.
I purchased 150ML of both PG and Vg from OneStopDIYshop and only paid $5. Maybe the bottles are bulky? I have no clue

I did my research. 1st order came in at $9.50; 2nd order came in at $6.20. This is calculated with USPS Parcel Post Rates according to zone. And yes, I did build in packaging material weight. Thing is, if they were to go with Priority rates, each order would come in at under $6.00.

Now I'm wondering why they would chose the parcel shipping option. In any case, I've gained some insight into the inner working of the United States Postal Service. Ha

That's my problem. Companies should realize that exorbitant shipping costs really bother customers. I'd rather have low shipping costs and pay a bit more for product (as long as it's not blatantly advertised).

BUT- I'm still EXCITED to have this coveted flavors heading into my greedy little hands!
