Captain PD270 - Watts Going In Reverse

Hi all forum friends,

I picked up a Captain PD270 mod about 2 weeks ago. Since yesterday, no matter what VW setting I have it set to, after taking a puff it reverses the wattage down to 5W.

I've tried firmware updates, different batteries, new coils, different firing modes, still no luck.

Is this just a sign of a bad unit?

If anyone has any suggestions I'd be grateful

I'd suggest warrantying it, that sounds like an internal electrical issue (possibly) to me, and it sounds like you've tried a lot of different options. Since it's consistent, I'm going to (guess) that there's something going on inside the mod. If you have a really good B&M near you, you could try taking it in for a diagnosis, but honestly, it sounds to me like you have a product that isn't functioning the way it should....

My vw mods only do that on weak batts. Or the wrong batts with low amp discharge.

Are you in user mode. Maybe you have your battery curves set way low.
