car adapter for passthru...

hi

i got my adapter today so i can use my PT in my car.
however it doesnt work.
the red light comes on (on the adapter) but i cannot get it to produce any vapor.
the PT works perfectly on my computer. and ive tried several carts in the car.
no go.

anyone else have this issue?
im rather dissapointed. i was so looking forward to PT'ing it up in the car!


on a side note, i got 2 packs of the VG smilin special.

My car adapter works great...I think my friend may have had a problem with hers...not enough power coming from the socket...

There are different types of adapter?
Are the adapters that v4l sells only for charging? Not for passthru use?

The amps are not enough. I think you need 1.5 or 2.0.. Mine charges the battery but PT wont work..

From what I was told, you have to make sure it has an output of at least 500 mah, or something like that. (I know the 500 part is right, not sure if mah is the right part.)

My PT works fine on the adapter in my vehicle and my boyfriend's vehicle. Each car has it's own set-up (two separate adapters and PT's all purchased from V4L)...my friend's PT on the adapter does not work in her vehicle...I haven't tried my stuff in her car nor hers in mine...So I can't tell ya much more than that. Maybe we'll experiment this weekend as we'll be together.

yeah the ones from v4l that I have are 200mah but you should get a 1amp or 1000mah
witch is the same.
ai do run mine with a 5 dollar one thats 500 mah and it works fine for me.

500ma won't do the job. You need at least 1000ma (1 amp).
