car adapter question

There is a car adapter at auto zone that has a USB adapter in it. I was wondering if it could be used with a V4L PT. Will any car USB adapter work or do you have to be careful which one you chose.

V4L sells one that is rated 2amps (2000mA) and that is recommended.

Those need more amps than your regular PT with an inline batt. See:
