I have had a lot of cars & built hot rods from the beginning & have had a 70s red Corvette high power hot rod for years.
:smokie:

I want a 57 Chevy...that's all...2 door pillar less...black...

That "pillar less" would be a hardtop. I had an old 57 BelAir 2dr. ht. black hot rod.

I removed the "sights" on my 57s which made scoops & ran another scoop in the middle of the hoods.

is anybody else into exotics?

The most exotic I've ever owned was a 89 Merkur xr4ti...man what a pos that was. Ran like an sob, sometimes.
Favorite foreigner car I've had, 69 Datsun 510. Those are still cool imo. Bunch of buddies raced them scca, so I had to have one too. They still have and race them at Summit Point WV.

that XR4TI has gained somewhat of a cult following now. it's basically an SVO mustang drivetrain, so there's plenty of em out there pushing 400+hp to the wheels. i got a buddy who's infatuation with em is as bad as mine is with SHOs.

Yea, Truth is I really did like the xr4ti. I know a tuner guy that is still know in this area for being the go to guy for getting the hp out of them. He always wanted to "fix it up" for me. My wife blew the turbo one day racing a T/A, I saw the 01 Subie RS, and the rest is history.
I would like to have a nicely preped 87 bi wing one day.

I'm more of a Chevy girl myself, but you can't deny a nice Mustang. :) Very nice!

70 is pinicle years imo for all american muscle.
Boss 429, 'bout 200-300k now days...
Btw, that is a sweet 67 ragtop...

Thanks Erica and blazer - This is my favorite time of year for a drive and today was perfect - Leaves changing colors, perfect temp for some top-down cruizing.

I'm jealous...

Biff, I'm stuck on 70's muscle, but I have a long list of 60's I like, and The 67 SS is black and beautiful. I like the Z cars also.

Lowriders anyone? The rat rod craze? Pics? I love that stuff.
