Caramel Explosion!

Holy Crap!! I was just playing with some ethyl maltol, and Bluemist Bavarian Cream. I've perfected a caramel that tastes like having 20 caramel candy cubes in my mouth. *WARNING* This flavor is extremely potent!

I used 100% VG except for the EM solution at 10% (If Cyrus Vap reads this, he'll be proud of me).

This is for a 10 ml final mix.

EM 20 drops

Bluemist Bavarian Cream 10 drops

I'd love to hear some feedback on this one.

It was an accident LOL. I was just trying out an all VG mix, and wanted to make it sweet. Then I got bored yesterday. So I added the Bavarian cream. I tasted it yesterday, and it just tasted like a sweet cream. Then tonight I opened the cap, and took a whiff of it. I said to myself, I don't remember this caramel. I dropped some in a cisco drip atty. I was like WOW!!! It's very strong, but it tastes exactly like Kraft caramel. I had to have my Wife vape it, just to make sure I wasn't nuts. LOL

It's possible. The flavor carrier from Bluemist is alcohol. Hopefully the flavor compounds are the same. It's worth a shot to try it. This stuff is very rich. I get an aftertaste that sticks for awhile.

Cool ! I hope you will like them. I go back and forth with FA and Bluemist. Bluemist is probably the sweetest DIY flavors to use.

It's possible. The flavor carrier from Bluemist is alcohol. Hopefully the flavor compounds are the same. It's worth a shot to try it. This stuff is very rich. I get an aftertaste that sticks for awhile.

Their concentration might be slightly different as well. It doesnt take much to completely change a flavor profile, I learned that the hard way. This would be a good example of why some vendor juices are difficult to replicate.

that is true. Bluemist recommends 10%.

48 drops per ml on the BM Bav. Cream 2%. EM 40 drops per ml. 4.9%

I'm getting a hint of creamy caramel after mixing this. Going to let it sit for awhile to see if anything happens, but the hint is nice enough to keep playing with it even if the steep doesn't do anything. I'll try to remember to check back after I get back to it.

I'm ALWAYS kinda on a Carmel kick. You must carry a lot DIY flavors on hand or you just happen to have those two. I would like a to hear an opinion on its taste from a second party.

Yeah, I can't count that high, but I have quite a few bottles of flavoring. Another $200 worth on the way too. I'm gonna' need another shelf unit...

I get a caramel taste from TFA's Bavarian Cream too if I use too much of it. (As I learned recently lol) I'm letting the blend I have steep to see if it lasts (in my case, I'm hoping not as there is already plenty of caramel in this blend).

After a few days the flavor muted. I doubled my recipe. It tastes really good now. 40 drops EM, and 20 Bav. Cream.

Add more flavor. When I posted this. I vaped too much Bluemist pancakes. My taste buds were picking up subtle flavors.
