Caravela by ehpro flat top battery not working

We'll they work but my tank has to be up and not flush on the top, and if I switch out to the medium pin it won't make contact. I know I can cut the long pin but I'd rather not in case I ever need to take it that long in the future. So any fixes for this like a spacer of some sort with the medium pin? And what is up with no logo and number I didn't realize this till I got home and was kinda mad that the ship wasn't on it but yet all pictures of it on the net show it?

Hmm.......No ideas unless you can loosen the switch, set the tank then snug switch to contact.

But the info is appreciated. I went for the sigelei 8w instead. Fiddly, but fully adjustable.

Magnetic "battery spacers". I use the 1.5 X 8mm - and don't forget to use a rubber or phenolic washer of a similar thickness to act as a centering device. I sharp blow to the mech and the magnet could shift - hard shorting the battery.

Looks nice but 99 cents that means I'd have to spend more to make a decent order, sounds like trouble. Thanks for the info
