Do you happen to know if there is a 18490/500 or 18350 copper tube/version out there?
My every button has wobble. I'm trying to ignore but I have original mod thoughts pop in the head from time to time.
Not that I am aware of. Sorry.
How is the copper holding up? I've seen some beautiful tarnishing on copper mods out there. Just worried about odd discolorations.
Can't really speak about the patina since I keep it polished. In regards to how it is holding up so far as a device...tremendous! I love it.
Found a user on calivapers selling the ehpro copper vela without logos in 18500. Perfect. Love the vela logos but I've been itching for a clean copper mod. Also already have a brass clone.
I've been using this for months now with a kayfun! firing button sucks and the top cap isn't brass, but its a pretty solid clone.
Whats wrong with the switch ? For being a very basic mec I think the switch is really nice and solid. Magnets improve the switch a lot.
Got my logo-less copper caravela. A lot heavier than my brass (hcigar) and a bit taller (both in 18500). Firing button is a lot more solid as well. Have magnets on the way. Would prefer it in 22 but not a big deal. Pretty happy with it overall.
BTW, how long has it taken for the gold plating to rub off? I actually prefer it in stainless now that I have the origen.

Days, not weeks.
I polished mine with a Cape cod cloth and that process essentially removed the plating.
Here is the FastTech Caravela mod ... I understand some folks here have had problems with the gold colored plating coming off the bottom cap after awhile?
If so, what is underneath the gold colored plating ... just stainless steel?

I can't speak for the FT version, I can only speak for the ehpro copper caravela. It is polished ss under the plating. The "C" has not worn off.
Since FastTech has been out of stock on these stainless / brass combo Caravela mods now for at least a month, does anyone know of a cheap source for the Hcigar brand Caravela clone.
I am thinking that I need a 22mm width since my Kayfun (authentic) is 22mm and I am using a Kick 1 in it.

Im from the uk so I don't know any US vendors sorry stay away from ebay unless somebody can recommend a seller.
