I was reading another thread about some cartomizers tasting like cardboard, and I have to say, the last big batch of 555s I got taste exactly like that. If I take a very tiny drag(like dry hitting it) I can taste the 555, but a full mouth and lung full has a very different taste. Cardboard describes it pretty closely.
I have resorted to refilling these with the 555 liquid I just got.
Anyone else notice this?

I've had my 555 cartos for about 2 weeks and they taste just right.

I received a package today with 555, thru it on the battery and was so happy that it tasted as great as it did. Before i went exclusively with V4L, i ordered from somewhere else, (sorry) and my 555 carto didn't even have a taste. Well, actually it did, it produced vapor but had only a "pepper" taste, which we know is the nicotine. Horrible tasting, and now i couldnt be happier with my V4L 555 cartos!! Great nutty flavor.

Mine (which I got about a week and a half ago) are good. Not my favorite flavor, but they have good taste to them. I got them in 18 and 24. Are they all bad?

Hmm. It wasn't all of them, I didnt notice for the first couple of boxes. It may be my taste buds, who knows. As I said, I get the nutty taste if I dry hit(or off of a battery completely), just not on a full hit. It's actually more of a lack of flavor, like the taste of pure VG (I know these are PG, but I have never vaped pure PG, only VG).

Set them aside for a few days and then try them again. If it is just your taste messed up, it should taste better. If not, then you probably got a bad batch so let Steve know.

I just got a new box of 555s on Friday and I think cardboard is a good description of the flavor. My husband used to work in a box factory, and they taste like he used to smell when he got home. Maybe that's why I don't mind them. Just a little different than I expect from 555.

I just tried 555 after getting my order a few days ago. I'm my opinion they taste very much like those mini cigars that are wrapped in a green tobacco leaf. (never had 55 before)

I have some RY4 from another vendor that tastes just like cardboard to me.
