As an aside... the thing I do not like about this case is that is does not have a belt clip, which for my uses would make it perfect.

I had the same problem and ended up modding a cell phone case with PVC inserts. Works great!

Thats a freaking great idea, I have about 5 of those lying around.
Sweet, I'm going to make an ego holster today.
Thanks cyberwolf!

I agree....Maybe you can explain more about the PVC inserts you used?....I assume it makes everything crush proof?...I'm waiting on a hard case I ordered...but this looks like a far better idea....

I used 5/8" PVC electrical conduit and sawed off the edges on four sides to make it relatively square, then glued 3 pieces together side by side to make the insert. It is essentially crush proof. Pressure on the tip of the eGo at just the right angle will depress the button, but it's unlikely and hasn't happened yet.

I was just at Walgreens and they had a whole table full of reading glasses in plastic carry cases for 99 cents. These are the perfect size for an eGo or a couple of slimmer models. Even if you're not one of us old farts that need readers, .99 is cheap.

I can see that working...But I'm a carpenter....I need something I can hang on my belt and access with one hand...Take a few vapes and put it away.....I'm moving around all day...Now if I had an office job....I'd be taking a tackle box to work with me...I'm gonna try maikng up something like you did...
