I was thinking of making a flexible wood holder like this guy makes for regular cigarettes:

That looks pretty cool, and the 110mm version would fit our 65mm batts w/ carto, the 120mm version is long enough for the 78mm batts w/carto. BUT, I'd doubt they would fit the diameter. Ours are 9mm diameter, and I think real cigs are more like 8mm or so.

But if they do fit, please let me know, I'll order one for myself!

Its kinda odd ...Just about every vendor uses the same E-cig case .... and just about every vendor offers the XL batteries. So why then, pray tell, Does NO vendor offer the E-cig case for the XL battery?

You would think the manufacturer, with all their resources at hand, would easily be able to create and mass market such an item.

Some financial guru prolly figures It wouldnt be worth it or some such. Im guessing they dont sell nearly as many XL batts as they do standard size.

BTW side note - I have found out that if you cut away the upper right side of the case insert ... the area that was supposed to hold a carto .... you can then get a 3 Ml bottle of juice to fit neatly in there. I was thrilled when I discovered this. :)

Of course they won't fit, that's why I said I wanted to attempt to make one, not buy one! I did a test on some scrap wood, a 3/16 radius roundover bit is perfect for the Bloog.

If you can make one, I would LOVE it if you could make me one too! I'll pay whatever you think is fair. Hell, I'd bet Red would love one too!

That's one of those mysteries of life. ;)

Like you said, it's about the money. They use the same cases as for regular cigarette cases, which means they don't have to pay to have new molds made. Cases are a very low profit item for them, since except for the inserts they don't do any of the manufacturing themselves, the case comes from the supplier, and then goes to the printer, and in the end they sell it barely above cost. SO, there's no incentive to pay the costs of making a new case.

Is the new Bloog PCC still due out in August? It would be nice to find out some of the specs, like the size of the assembled sig it will be able to hold, number of cartos, etc.

will it properly fit a 102mm?

No, not the first version at least. If it sells well, then we may make a 102mm version. I was trying to work out a way to make it 102 compatible, such as adding a hole with a removable cover in one end of the slot, but it really didn't work out because of necessary placement of some of the components.

Not sure how many men will want to carry around a "Tampon Case"

In defense of my creations, I hope Bloog will forgive and understand my posting in their forum just this once to clarify that these cases were originally created for carrying assembled e-cigarettes and liquid. It would only be a "tampon case" if you bought one without the foam insert kit and put tampons in it. Plenty of men carry these around for their e-cigarette supplies, including my husband and my brother, LOL! :2cool:

(Also, I've disabled my signature ad link because I'm honestly not trying to advertise here at all. If the mods feel this post is still out of line, I understand if it gets deleted - it's just that this "tampon case" comment was making me crazy and I felt compelled to say something, LOL! Thanks!)
