I hate to complain cuz V4L is so great with customer service but what's up with horrible quality control of carts lately? Every cart I've received over the last couple of months has had the label put on incorrectly. It usually covers the vent holes on the atty end so I have to cut the label back to use the cart. Then of course I have to use alcohol to clean the exposed sticky stuff by the mouthpiece or it gets nasty. I can't remember the last time I got a cart that was labeled correctly. On top of that I've had a couple of carts where the threads were never machined in so I can screw it on the battery and one where the groove on the battery contact was so shallow that you can't drag on it.

I mostly use parlament and caramel mocha frappucino carts.

What are your experiences?

My last order was 8 packs of cartomizers (empty). I have 4 packs that I've yet to open, but 2 whole packs had this problem. It's not a horrible problem to have but I filled 5 cartos and stored them. Then while I was out at a movie attempted to use one. Wouldn't work so I threw it out. I tried another and had the same problem. This time I examined and found the cause, so I had to wait a couple hours until I got home. It was irritating.

My other issue is that out of the past few orders I must have ordered about 25-30 packs of emptys and another 15-20 packs of flavored ones. I've had probably a dozen where the notches on the post were not cut so I could not use them at all. It has been sporadic, so I was throwing them out. I should have kept them to show them the issue. $20 in cartos may not be a LOT, but when your hurting for money it definitely isn't a good thing. Anyone know why the date of mfg taken off the bottom of the carto?

I think all of the CMF cartos were done that way and Parlament may have been.

Leaford was sick when that happened, so he didn't discover it until it was too late. He had the worker that put the labels on wrong moved to packing. Unfortunately, the damage was done.

I've still had an occasional bad labeled carto, but I've found I don't have to cut anything. I stick a fingernail into a slot and bend the label outward for the width of the slot. Do that for all 4 slots and it works great.

I think Leaford has a handle on the groove & thread problems. I don't think we'll see much of that after the current stock is depleted.

I do wish they would put the groove back in the battery center post. It would eliminate one possible problem area.

Yeah Leaford, why don't you vape every single cart at the factory before it gets shipped out :)

Yea terry, that's reasonable. Out of my last 11 boxes of Parlaments every single cart had the label problem. This is also spread over two months with separate shipments from China ( I know this because they ran out according to the website and I reordered when they were back in stock) so it wasn't a one time, bad employee problem, it's typical chinese poor quality control.

I know some members on this forum hate it when someone posts something that could be construed as derogatory towards V4L but I'm stating facts so they can be aware of the issue and to let others chime in so V4L knows I'm not the only one with this issue.

I'm not bashing Steve and the gang ( I think they're great) but they should be made aware of issues. It's not there fault that this happened but it is their responsibility to correct it.

I'm not asking for refunds/exchanges etc. because they always take care of me and I still use the carts. I'm just making them aware that this problem still exists so it can be corrected.

I'd like to receive carts that have labels put on correctly like they were when I began vaping but if V4L doesn't know there's a problem then it won't happen.

i haven't had too many that had the label issue... maybe two or three out of a hundred. but it must be awfully frustrating when it's a whole pack. i haven't yet gotten one without threads, thank goodness.

& i def. agree, of course we should make sure V4L knows! it's much better to give feedback than have the whole mission fall apart every time leaford needs to eat or sleep. he's only one man, people! :D
