Cart question

Is it better to do a tight fill of polyester fiber in the empty cart, or a looser fill?
I was thinking that if the poly fiber(or whatever else one uses) is too tight, it may not absorb as much liquid?

Who has experimented with different packing methods?

Not too tight, but not too loose.

Are you going to use quilt batting or fish filter material?

If what was origionally in your cart was working for you, try to mimic exactly how it was. I have seen quite a few different ones though. Some have thinner sheeted batting/filter and some have thicker sheeted batting/filter. The thicker tends to be just a slice of it. The others are folded in two or some are so thin they are accordianed in a three fold.

I would not reccomend fiber fill pillow/craft stuffing. The fibers are too long and fly away. It is just too fluffy and not sheeted.
