For me it's atomizer>carto>clearo. I have a number of each, and rotate. I like having options. It's like choosing what you're going to wear for the day.
"Hrm...today I think I'll rock the 2 ohm carto on my white eGo 650 with a blue cone and a red drip tip. Now...what juice should I bring?"
Hard to say, although I will say that if you're looking to replicate the flavor of your favorite smoke, you are going to have a bad time. Try and order sampler packs from vendors who have them, and choose flavors based on things you already enjoy that aren't cigarettes. If you like apples, then go for an apple juice. If you like the lemonade, get lemonade. You might be surprised at what you end up vaping. I know I have been.
Wow Cuando, someone besides me who like atomizers! Cartos just frustrate the hell out of me.
For me it's attys, but not just for dripping. I recently moved to the eGo MEGA cylinder attys. The cylinder version uses a cartridge that can hold up to 2.5 ml's! You can actually vape an atty & cart setup like that for hours between refills. Huge improvement over regular size attys in this respect. They do require a 510 extender or eGo adapter to use them on anything other than an eGo style battery.
Liberty Flights has the best pricing on them with their 20% discount. In a 3 pack or larger they are pretty much the same price there as you would pay for regular size attys at most places. (LF calls them an eGo XL type B.)
I like cartos (Boge LR XL) and clearos (Slim Vivi Novas). Not a fan of dct because of the slippage that can happen (but otherwise, they are just a carto that can hold a lot more juice if you get your hole / slot just right).
I've never tried dripping or cartridges in an atty, but I'd love to get a rebuild-able atty tank, and an atty to drip in for trying new flavors.
I am a carto / clearo kind of vaper. I used to use atties, but I just didn't like the carts and could not get the hang of dripping. I saw some sealed attys the other day and thought maybe this was the answer to the atty issue I had been having. Anyone out there have experience with a sealed atty?
Clearomizers all the way here, I use the Vision mini Vivi nova on an Joye Ego-C Twist or my Vision version 2 ego clearomizer IMO they work great for me, even with all the 100% VG juices I use.
I love the Vivi Nova most of all but I also direct drip on my attys especially when trying new flavor mixtures.
I used cartomizers for a awhile but I just hate buying and dealing with them. I'd rather just replace the inexpensive head once in awhile on the Vivi.
I love atties,I think newbies who start off on carts etc are missing out on a great vaping experience.I can understand that once people vape on the bigger set up,they think atties are too much faffing about but in reality, the bit of faffing is so worth it.No airyness,no hot vape, just full of flavour, smooth vapour but great throat hit. When my other kits play up(which is often),i just go back to basics and remember just how great atties are.
I like them all, I guess I'm just moody that way. Today my favorite is carto/tank, 801 fusion in a pyrex tank on a 510/801 adapter. Hits like a freight train and sounds like I'm frying eggs.
I like attys for at home vaping and trying out new flavors but you get a good carto and tank set up it's the next best thing to dripping. Genesis Atty is my next purchase convenience of a tank, taste and vapor of a dripping Atty and the simplicity of filling a carto win win win they are just so hard to aquire.
This is a step backwards from two pieces back to three hmm but I did try one my friend swears by just like an improved version of the first NJoye three piece but a way better Atty. I had high hopes for the raven tanks Atty in a tank best of both. Have you tried the reactor tank yet ?
With cartomizers i have a love hate relation. I simply do not seem to get them working perfectly.
Only the first drags taste (very) good. But after the 7th it tastes a little burned, too hot and with just a little smoke on the exhale. I know about filling them correctly and i think i'm doing it correctly. I even fill them a little more when i get that burned taste.
When they work alright they taste great. But when they don't they taste awful.
