So I've been filling carts for a couple weeks now. I have several different juices from several different places and have tried all the methods ( drip, condom, spin, syringe.....) anywho. I just don't seem to he getting any good flavor or vapor unless the thing is so full it's gurgling and dripping...... Any thoughts???

Both types of carts. I'd say I think I tried around 20 drops in both but when I started vaping them they just didn't have enough vapor rolling so I added about 3-4 drops. It seems I can vape a but and then the vapor/flavor production drops to nill, when I add about 3 drops I'm flooded again. No no bat hole plugs. And yes I do have a USB passthru but havnt monkey'd with it with these.

Sorry about that, the server has been glitchy lately and I couldn't connect.

Are these used carts or blanks? It sounds like these maybe used carts, 20 drops in either should not lead to any flooding as long as your are dripping on the side of the carto housing and holding the carto at an angle. Gurgling or flooding at 20 drops, let alone 23 drops sounds like the pfill material has been compromised and you have a burnt cart.

So let me state a few indirect things on this issue. Sometimes if an atomizer is flooded it can be woken up so-to-speak by placing the carto on a Passthrough which will quickly vape off the flooding due to the higher voltage.

Check your battery, take a flashlight and look at your battery connector, is there a black ring around the post accompanied by black gunk in the outer threads. If so, this is an indication that you've been leaking juice onto the battery connector. This is quite common and a drawback of using the Condom method of refilling as residual juice runs down the air tube and stays on the carto threads causing a black build up on the battery threads.

To clean your battery, take a toothpick and run it around the post ring until it you can see metal again. This should remove a black/green gunk like substance, then take a needle and run it around the air intake holes which feed into the outer ring of the post. Using a little alcohol or vodka will make this task simpler.

A dirty battery will have a large effect on vapor production, draw, and flavor.

Sorry, I keep getting disconnected to the server....

Anyways, you said you have syringe, I have something for you to try on a blank carto if you have one but I will wait for your response and see if your battery needs cleaning and what type of carts, used or blanks your are using.

for *me* the key to refilling was using the syringe...18 gauge blunt tip.
fill it until you see the top of the polyfill get covered in liquid...then, slowly back the plunger up a hair to remove excess liquid.

go for DAMP, not soaked polyfill.

**nothing works better than a brand new blank.

Think Keyzy is spot-on-target then. Half an hour isn't going to cut it, you are going to need to reverse spin those carts out to get the dry enough to refill. Simply blowing out the air tube isn't enough, there will always be 5-6 drops of residual water in the base of the Carto which is why it takes a day or two to let them sit and dry.

The air tube sits up about 5/16th of an inch from the base so it kind of looks like a bunt cake pan. Do you a spinning lanyard Bomccorkle to a reserve taryn spin on those cartos? Check out this vid...it should help.

I hope no one minds my interrupting this thread with my carto filling question. :)

I did a cleaning, and then a oven dry with a bunch of my cartos, made a complete mess when refilling them, lol , but that's another story...don't ask how much juice ended up in the cartos and how much on tissues.

I'm still working my way through them, and all work but one. The one that isn't working makes a gurgling noise ( ordinary sound) but no vapro...none zilch. Tried switching around batteries and other cartos...it's not any of my batteries, it's just this one carto. Since I can hear the sound of it firing up, I assume my connection is fine. But nothing comes out, plenty of juice in there, I have checked a few times ( also blown it out).

Now, it's not the end of the world, it's just one...but I am curious what went wrong, what did I break, and how can I not do it again?
