Thanks for the help, Star and MrH! Aubergine, don't do it because of me. Too much pressure for a guy who doesn't know what the heck he's doing!

I dun know what I'm doing either. I think I do sometimes and I wander out into the big world of Other Forums, and it's like, "Well, NOOB, you don't want to run a VTH 2.3 mah LIGmo unless it's HRPT5.3 (do you have a voltameter reading of under 6.9zds?) - unless you have a pridrum compensation factor of at least 12ARWS, but then you might blow your face off. So get a DWE 285 from Whingding, pull out the tiny fibers from under the woozle with 2.678mm plagnose pliers (just the red ones), replace with fishing filament soaked in vodka and hypersuds (I get mine from Vapid-vape but it's out of stock) and turn the dial to FM5.5..." Then I come home. To here.

glass syringes in various sizes (with LL tips): NTT - Glass Syringes
I like the idea of glass syringes, just because... because I do- but on the practical side, most of the
juice components have already been exposed to plastic, and most likely are about to be exposed to plastic in the PV system.
(but I still like the idea of a set of glass syringes in a nice leather case... I'm into medical nostalgia)

Plastic ones can be found on many vet/pet supply sites or farm/tractor supply (as noted) (lots of people do their own vaccinations).
You need a script in: CT, DE, IL, NJ, or NY
Otherwise you should be able to purchase at a pharmacy- BUT it is up to the discretion of the pharmacist, and many
pharmacists (like anyone else) are self-righteous a-holes, that:
a) will assume you're a drug addict (although drug addicts don't like to harpoon themselves with anything bigger than a 27g)
b) will assume that since you're a drug addict, you don't deserve a clean needle and should die of communicable diseases
or
c) will assume that if you're a drug addict, and you don't get a clean needle, you are going to see the light at that moment, and despite your withdrawal symptoms, you are going to quit, rather than going home, sharing a needle, or sharpening old dull ones on the back of matchbooks.
All 3 are false.

Bring your e-cig in to the pharmacy. That may sway otherwise crotchety pharmacists.

I always find it amusing how squeamish addicts get when I want to start a 20g IV in their AC. I usually just pull out a 14 and tell them I can use this instead, and they usually stop complaining. Don't even get me started on how many of them claim to be allergic to narcan...

Depending on where you live (some states require a prescription), you may be able to just go to any pharmacy and buy a syringe. They're only $1 or $2 each...

The problem is most pharmacy locations carry needles pretty much for diabetics/insulin only. So the gauge is like 30 or thereabouts because insulin is a very thin fluid, but e-juice tends to be quite viscous in contrast (probably the glycol and glycerin) so you need a thicker needle.

Well "a" is sort of true unless you're on a 0mg juice.

I spoke with my friend last night who is an MD about where he would suggest getting needles and he advised me to just google/yellow page medical supply stores in my area and to ask for dispensing needles if those work for my use; since dispensing needles are non transdermal you ca't really use them for injecting drugs. So you eliminate a lot of suspicion right there.

Glass-Syringes: I bookmarked your resource, tanks. I prefer them as well since I'm still not sure what the reaction between the juice and the plastic in a tossable syringe will be and it seems like I'll get pretty much infinite use from a borosilicate rig. Also I like Burroughs and gadgety business. I've found quite a few borosilicate syringes on ebay for very low prices but have not ordered as yet. They all seem to be slip-tip configurations in various sizes but I've never ordered from ebay before and I'm hesitant.

Sure, but if they're detoxing they're also experiencing hyper sensitivity and skin pain which I'm sure you're aware of. I've known and worked with quite a few people who ride a spike (music industry) and at this point I'm no longer shocked at what seem like inconsistent behaviors in addicts. Hell most of the addicts I've known are hardly ever completely straight so they are either not fixing themselves or they are doing so with enough of a high to take the edges off the experience.

/One of the reasons so many people I know are aware of my phobia of needles is that I've been asked to fix people so many times I got in the habit of working it in to conversation.

Well, finally got around to trying this syringe method again, with the right equipment. Hey! This works really well! (Little delayed on the uptake, I know.) I was actually using sharps before, it was a pain. Probably too skinny. Thanks, syringe people - now I have aNOTHER method. Hugz Jeffrey, I'm stubborn but your word is gold. Syringe on the bedside table still looks... sketchy... and I'm not takin' it to the office - I'm already in danger of freaking everyone out as I'm chain-vaping alla time behind my closed doors. But it really does work well.
