Carto PIF

Someone, (sorry, can't remember who) came to me about a carto sampler section. I think this is a great idea because I'm sure that those of us that have bought a 5 pack to find that we really hated that flavor would love to be able to get rid of it.

Here is what I'm thinking...this involves more trust....

We send the cartos that we don't like to one person. That person can bag them up in packs, with different flavors and strengths, and that person would be the one to contact for a sample pack.

You would be required to donate either a few bucks to a special donation section that I'm in the process of starting called "The Scott Foundation" or have donated cartos to the mix.

Once the first pack of 5 are shipped we will know how much shipping would cost and that money would be paid to whoever is taking care of the carto program before shipment.

There would, of course, be VG cartos kept separately from the rest of the cartos and this would be the only special request excepted.

There would be no special packing of requested flavors or strengths. You get what's in the bag. You can always re-donate them and get donation points. Every carto donated gets you one point. The person in charge of the cartos would have to keep a spread sheet for that but it wouldn't be that hard to just add a line next to their name.

Since I seem to have more time on my hands than most I can do it or you all can pick someone else. It wouldn't hurt my feelings at all. Up until the China order I had a pretty good shipping record,lol

Anyways, I have way over thought this especially since I don't even know if you all are interested or not.

MacArthur brought up a good point. As long as the cartos are new and labeled, the ones that you fill yourself would be fine.

Comments appreciated on this. And any ideas to make it run smoother too would be great too.

Jules: I've moved to filling blanks with my own juices, having found that pre-filled just doesn't do it for me. Do self filled Carts count?

I do have a FEW pre-filled carts on hand, but once they're gone I'm probably sticking to filling my own.

So I guess the question is: are we trading just pre-filled here?

As long as it is a new carto, I think pre-filled would be fine.

I'm the opposite. I thought I would be the one that would refill them but I've really gotten lazy and I don't refill anything,lol I'm glad I've been able to stock up with the V4L and Vapornine sales. Also, Dat's Vapor has some good cartos. He will fill them with any of his flavors and they last as long as any others I've tried.

I could see sorting by mg would work, but anymore than that would put a lot on the person doing it, whether it's me or someone else. There really aren't that many different strengths in cartos so yeah, that can be done.

well i for one love the whole idea! as long as the mg is no higher than 24 and they are all clearly labeled i'm super interesteed!!!!!!!!!!!

If we do this, it will be sorted by mg strength. So you can request what mg you want. I know some people like 36mg so I would still allow it and when you want to cash in your carto points you can just tell us what mg you want.

And yeah, they have to be clearly labeled or they will be sent back.

Since they will be separated and mixed sampler packs put together they would have to be individually labeled. Walmart has a great silver Sharpie that works really good on them.

I think this is a great idea!!! In the beginning, I thought just one PIF thread was the way to go. But I really really like this carto swap idea. It would have a few quirks to iron out, but there is no doubt in my mind that if anyone can do it, the PIF group can!

I wouldnt mind being the keeper of the cartos to help take a load off your shoulders, but I know that there is no way that would be possible with my flying schedule! Sometimes I get sent overseas for 18 days at a time!!!

So it looks like its all on you... dont worry. I'll bake you some chocalate chip cookies with LOTS of chips for the effort.

I would really like to hear from the ones who have voted no so far. If they have reasons they think it shouldn't be done it may be something we need to think about before we start this. And there will be no flaming of anyone. That is one thing that I have a zero tolerance for.

I know that with this China order I had a lot of problems with getting it sorted and shipped. But you have to remember, this is the first very large order I've done and I just had major pelvic surgery not that long ago. It takes me a little more time to do some things than others. I already have a system thought out to keep them sorted and to keep records of "carto points" so people don't get cheated. Yes, there will be some kinks to work out just like there was with the PIF thread and the DIY thread but we can do it and You All can count on me to be more on top of things than I have been lately if we decide to do this. And I said "we" I won't make this decision on my own. We are a family and everyone has a voice and a vote.

Nothing bad has happened. It's just taken me longer to get it out then it should have. I overestimated my abilities at this point in the game. By the time the next one comes in I should be alright. And thanks for the well wishes.

also, I know Im new here, but I wouldnt mind taking the "keeper of the cartos" position, if it helps.
