I just bought this tank from a Wild Bills as it was cheap and I wanted to try it. But the problem is, after I primed and filled the tank, my juice doesn't taste quite right. What am I doing wrong? I also have no idea what kind of tank it is. If anyone can tell me that'd be awesome. Thanks.

The tank also doesn't make contact on my MVP which kinda bums me out.

Wild Bill's is a tobacco shop, so they do not specialize in e-cig products. The website was of no help what-so-ever.

I can't tell what tank that is from your photo. It is not unusual for the MVP to not be able to make electrical connection with a variety of 510-thread juice devices. My MVP also doesn't make contact with my cartotanks. You could pull the center pin up on the MVP, but that could cause issues with your other juice attachments fitting correctly.

If what you have is a cartotank, you may not have properly primed the cartomizer, which is the most important part of a cartotank setup, and will determine how well the carto will perform for the rest of its life in the tank. If not properly filled, the carto may likely be already burnt and is ruined. Once burnt, you will never get that bad flavor out - start out with a fresh carto.

I recommend following my cartotank tutorial which has worked for myself and many other ECF members.

Hi it looks like a U-DCT they not bad tanks I got a couple and I have problems with them on my svd and mvp all I did was use a 510-ego adapter with a collar on it and it works fine as the adapter has a deeper thread so reaches the bottom of the 510 thread or a 510-510 adapter will do it to but as for taste I would prime the carto first so before you fill it up just squeeze juice into the side of the cart until you see the cotton inside get wet at the top but don't let it go down the hole in the middle of the carto or it will run into your mod if you do get a little juice down the middle just blow down it before you screw it on your mod when you have it on your mod do a few dry draws without pressing the fire button that will help it draw from the tank to the carto DCTRefillDetails.jpgatomizer-catomizer-2.jpgFilling-Boge-510-Cartomizer-Needle-Method.jpgohms - volts.jpgVamo%20Fix.jpg

The thing I'm noticing is, my carto does not have the same amount of filling as the ones shown. it has a small amount near the holes. Is that a normal thing for some brands?
