Got a small issue.

I have a Boge F15 Carto tank and a cartomizer that I got to start getting into carto tanks. When I put the cartomizer on my Vamo without the tank, I have no issues at all. When I put it on with the tank, it wobbles like a son ofa gun. It still fires and vapes great, but the wobbling is bothering me. The tank doesn't lock, have one of those coming in the mail later next week. It's really bothersome :L.

Using a Vamo V2 by the way.

Also, one more question. With the Kanger Pro-tank, putting it on a Vamo SS V2, do I need any adapter at all or am I good to go? I'm hearing mixed answers and I want to be sure if I need one or not. Thanks.

I just recently got the 2 F16 mainly because it was cheep and wanted to see what the carto tank was about

as far as the vape it is better then I expected for sure and I do love them

as far as the wobbly one fits just right, the other wobbles a little

I feel like its the carto not the tank, I don't know if I should be concerned but Ill be watching this thread

I don't know about the wobble, perhaps the added weight of the tank? The Vamo 510 connection can be a bit iffy sometimes (check out the Vamo sub-forum). The Protank will screw in fine, but if there's a weight issue with the 510 connection on the Vamo itself, you may see a wobble with the Protank too.

What do you mean by "Weight Issue"?

@VJC

At this point, I believe it's the tank due to it not locking the cartomizer in.

Also, the ViVi Novas (terrible) that came with the kit sit kind of crooked. Again, not sure if it's the tank itself or the Vamo.

It sounds like the tank is preventing it from threading on there fully. I used aftermarket orings which were thicker on my devices, and as a result everything fit with a wobble unless i used an ego thread cover. The thin one will fit on a vamo and you screw it on just far enough so the tank sits flush, and then put the tank on, no wobble.

Here is a photo of my vamo with a protank using the thread cover as a stabilizer, actually looks nice imo

I meant that if the added weight of the tank on the carto is what's making it wobble, you might notice a similar wobble when you put a Protank on since it weighs more than a carto tank.

That might be it actually, because when I slide the tank down to the point of no air flow, it doesn't wobble as much as when it's all the way at the top. It's very annoying, I love cartomizer tanks and I'm going to continue to use them, but I need one that locks that carto snug!

Are you getting a PT or a PT2 ?

If your getting a PT you should be getting one of these..

Kanger ProTank 2.5ml Glass Clearomizer

Look at the third picture... the last thingy on the right

Do you have a link to what you ordered?
The pro tank I ordered comes with that beauty ring, I just want an adapter that raises the threading up(I believe) making it easier/more Hassel free on the vamo.

And yes, same kit. People told me that the beauty ring is hard to get off on the vamo (or something like that).

Just don't screw it on too tightly. Some Vamos have had problems with the threads stripping. I think one of the issues is that there is more than one Vamo manufacturer. My Vamo V2 may not be the same as someone else's.

I have a Vamo V3, the ring comes off OK, but even without taking it off, it's not too hard to get the ring on (I just tried it). It doesn't raise the 510 threads, it threads onto the EGO threads and will provide a more stable platform for the bottom of the tank.
I haven't used it before with my PTs on the vamo or my SIDs, just the CTwists, but it works with them.
