Carto Tank Problem

Hi,

I'm using a car to tank with boge lr carto punched with two holes. I'm using a 70/30 juice and I have to.keep doing a dry draw for the liquid to wick through properly. It's rather annoying and I get dry filler taste hits sometimes. This happens more frequently when the juice is a little bit above the holes. When its fully filled i rarely get problems but when it gets to that point it just under performs. Still love carto tanks though.

Any solution?

1: keep the tank mostly filled
2: get 3 hole punched cartos. I find they work better, more consistently
3: add a third hole yourself.

Give a couple quick sharp pulls without firing the button. This is something I have to do sometimes when I feel the carto is not feeding. If you get bubbles it is feeding. If you don't see bubbles it may need a new carto. I have noticed a few times that my holes I punch are not actual feeding. Hope this helps a bit.

When it gets that low, have you tried releasing the pressure in the tank? Sometimes that helps when you can't refill immediately.
