For the life of me, I can't figure out what happened to Boge cartos or why. Obviously, they know how to make a good carto. Quality control shouldn't be very difficult if you know how to set the standards and test the product coming off the line. Something has changed.

Someone posted a video a couple of weeks ago of the inside of a Chinese factory making vaping devices. There was little to no testing of products coming off of the assembly line. Literally teenagers and young adults, some allegedly working under poor labor conditions. Doing the same monotonous tasks for hours on end. Suicide rates are high. But steady employment draws these young people to work under these conditions. The company executives have little interest in quality control; just make more product and as fast as can be made. The thread on quality control is in this link: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/350204-quality-control.html

Here is the video. Tour of Chinese factory starts around 1:11:30.

I read somewhere where Boge finally admitted to their BogeGate issue. They blamed it on a wire used within the cartomizer.

wow they got to sit while they worked and no 3 thousand pound boxes to pull around with broken dollys? they get to live in a home for free AND get enough money to live for the week? beats my last job with a spiked bat. I have a dime sized hernia in my gut from my last job making 8.25 an hour, and people are worried about these kids? what? chair sores???? no commute apartment too stuffy?? lol

I posted that video in that thread. It's a clean, organised factory. There is nothing in that video that indicates they are "allegedly working under poor labor conditions. Doing the same monotonous tasks for hours on end. Suicide rates are high." Actually these are sought after jobs in China. As the video explains, its a step up for these people. Its no more monotonous than factories in the West, where people do the same repetitive tasks all day.
In the video, he refers to some people working for Apple in China committing suicide. From what I've looked into the ecig jobs are sought after employment. As for the workers ages - there are plenty of teens and adults doing unskilled labor all over the world. Visit a few factories in the West and you'll see the same. China is no different in that regard.
On the quality control - its common for that to be a different part of the production line. Just because the testing wasn't shown doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Like any factory it would be sample or batch testing.
I 'm not saying China is perfect, but that video doesn't show what you describe.

Recently started trying RBAs coming from cartos and tanks. Smoketech with silver end caps tanks never had a problem Boge and recently smoketech cartos are another matter. Even with a condom fill and leaving sit for an hour or two with juice right at the top of the carto then blowing it out and get a dry hit on the first fire yuck. Going to check out Stormy's cartos thanks.
For cheap tanks I dont think you can beat Vapor Beasts prices $6-$13 includes one carto and drip tip and free shipping reminds me I need to order four more skinny tanks $7.95 for the wife before there out of stock again.:p

I've used cartos in the past and could never really figure out how to use them properly and never got the taste I wanted so I started using clearos. I recently bought a Texas Tuff Tank from Vapedudes which is a carto tank, will be the first time I try one of these. Do these taste better than the Kanger T3's? That's what I'm currently using and I enjoy the ease of cleaning as well as not having to buy new cartos all the time. You can clean a carto to use with different juices? They just seem really finicky, so unless the taste is way better than a clearo, I don't think I'd try them again.

have you ever tried any kanger cartos ?? i like the 50mm 2.8 ohms ones,,they last me for ever and taste is awesome with them !!

Are you using the horizontal (single) coil Kangers in your tanks? I'm going to try this very soon because my favorite vendor just got in a good supply of the Kanger XL horizontal cartos and I've heard good things about them.

I tend to use a syringe with about 1.4ml of juice to prime my cartos, and then I use the thermometer shake method to get the juice way down deep inside. Hopefully that will help with the issue you're describing.
