Going to get myself a Provari one of these days soon and the majority of videos I have seen seem to use carto tanks. I like being able to fill up a tank and just vape away without having to refill or bother with it much. Currently using ego tanks and I do like them. Don't think I could do something like the the old 510 cartomizers I always had to keep moist. Any suggestions? :?:

+1 on the Vision Vivi Nova! I'm new to tanks, and am still working on mastering the carto/tank thing, but the Vivi Nova was a cinch for me to use right out of the box. Been using it for almost 2 weeks now and every vape has been awesome!

Want to add that the Vivi Nova looks great on my Provari too!

I used to think so, but I'm starting to really like the clearomizer-like Vivi Nova. They apparently had a rough start but the current version 2.5 is working very well for me. The flavor is better (cleaner due to no filler?) and the vapor production is significantly better.
I got a Vivi Nova last week and it works great on my ProVari. It seems I need a little less voltage than I do with a carto tank to get a great vape and like you said the taste is cleaner also.

Not sure. Everyone is saying that the Vivi Novas don't require as high a voltage as the carto/tanks, and I am finding this to be true also, but so far I have only used the 2.4 ohm head at about 3.8 V. Since the Ego is a 3.3 V battery, maybe the LR head they supply with it would work ok but drain the battery faster.

Hello Ty89m,

Well I just love the Vision ViVi Nova tank system ....

Ok the v-1 is the long wicks and the air holes are on the very edge of the bottom chrome base were the texture is to turn it to tighten it to the clear tube. It has a wick material that is not as good as the new v-2's.

Now the Nova v-2 has short wicks and the air holes are just above the 510 threads on the screw in base , so I had to get a 510 to 510 spacer from Smok Tek so it wood get more air flow when screwed down and so it would fire all the time.
The 510 connection , the center pin is very close to the out side 510 threads, and it shorted out on my Lava Tube, (would not fire) . So all is good now , I have 4 Nova's, and I had some dry hits with one and, on a thread a person said to trim the silicone cap that goes on the top of the atomizer. Trim the bottom of the cap about a 16th inch and that keeps the cap from going down to far to cut off the wicks and juice, when the top chrome piece is screwed on. A 2 min. fix !

But I have not burned up a atomizer/coil yet, in over a month of use . never a dry hit , great vapor , great taste , never a leak , easy break down to clean , no problems....

I'm very pleased with the, Vision ViVi Nova tank's . I was really getting fed up with toping off , driping , filling up , all the time , getting juice every were.....lol . This system is great, just vape , vape , and vape away....

The V-2 is better (shrt wicks) than the V-1 ! However they are booth awesome ....And for a kit with 3 atomizers 1.8 , 2.4 , 2.8 ohms and I see they just came out with like 3.0 and higher ohms. and you get the complete tub assembly with drip tip.

And for like $11.99 for a kit at some web sites, you just can't beat ! ! ! And it would look nice on your tube mods, like the Provari !

Best Wishes.....................:)

Not to hijack the thread, but where are you guys ordering the V2.5 Vivi Nova tanks? I'm curious to try one out, as the price is right. But some of the places I've checked don't specify the version they're selling. Thanks!

Nice thing about Provari type APV's is they really don't care all that much what you put on them. You just play with the button until it tastes the way you want it to.
I use both the Vivi Nova and J-tanks with 3ohm Boges in them, and I like both setups.

Yep, it doesn't really matter. I use Fluxomizers, Phoenix bottom coils, Vision Extremes, dripping atomizers, etc. I'm not a fan of tanks or dual coils, but that's just personal preference.
