Personally, I'm not a big fan of fill ports. They do work, they don't leak, and they are easy to fill a tank with - but...

That screw does create just a little extra width on the tank overall which does become an impact on how many I can comfortably fit in an Altoids tin (for carrying around extra tanks / flavors throughout the day)

This is probably a bit of paranoia on my part but I have the feeling that screw could be something to get caught on while I'm walking around with my Buzz in my jeans pocket with a tank attached.

The Cartomator tanks are just too easy to fill as is. Takes about a minute start to finish filling with a syringe from the bottom as it is - so why mess with it :)

Different strokes and all and while I thought I would be all over the idea of a fill port on a tank - in practice - it's just not my cuppa.

You may be right. I'd like to try one but I'm not sure I'd like having a screw sticking out of my tank.

I'm really looking forward to the new SS finishes. The brushed, in particular, looks really nice in those photos.

Shopping list: SS tube, Brushed SS charcoal and maybe a satin red or dark cherry.

Strypr use set screws so nothing is sticking out of the tank. It sits flush. I use Polypropylene screws that are smooth with a rounded head. Nothing gets caught with them either. I agree that tanks are pretty easy to fill as is, but if you keep your juice in a syringe bottle or a syringe, it only take a few seconds to unscrew, fill and screw it back in. Like you say, different strokes. I'm a fan of fill ports myself.

I go through a few tanks a day, so I add the fill port to make it easier for me. I have my juices set up in 30 mil syringe top bottles.....Simple and fast.

Does that port not "add air" to the tank?
How does that work, and how do you do it?
