I got it in anticipation of the touchwood and a possible brass tank.
I got lucky with a WTB in the classes.

Okay cuze I'm gonna have to go in for a brass tip and tank too...plenty of time, touchwood is sold out and he is making them as pre-orders. cba, let me know how that brass tip works out, if it has a strange taste or anything...

Be very careful with Brass...Those drip tips were discontinued due to the effects of eliquid on bras, I believe...I actually have a tip in my mod case that was completely green...Not BASHING here , just a word of warning.

I knew beforehand that brass would be significantly more maintenance heavy.

If I do run brass, it will be a very limited run and everyone will need to understand the potential pitfalls of the material prior to purchase. It will be an "advanced user product", so to speak. The only reason I am considering it, is because I want a tank and couple of DT's for myself! But again, this is still in the assessment stage.

That makes perfect sense. If some juices can craze a polycarbonate tank...........
