Cartomisers in the UK?

Hey guys,

I was just wondering where's a good place to get a cartomiser from in the UK? I've no idea what I'm doing with them but I'm sick of my atomisers going nasty! I'm currently using an Ego-T and 510-T (preferring the battery capacity of the Ego-T. Also, if any of you know how best to use them, I'd be happy to take your advice!

i started with an ego-t but soon changed to using cartomisers... i would suggest taking a look here vapeEscape standards boges or kangers would be great but my personal preference if you wanted a little more vapour and flavour would be the LR boges these can only be used on your bigger ego-t batteries. it'll also be worth getting a 510 size drip tip to use with them for comfort

Oooh! Thanks! Lots of choice! Stupid question though, what's a driptip?! How many times can you reuse a cartomiser? I'm still pretty new to this but I'm finding I'm falling off the wagon in this last week as I'm not getting the TH or flavour I'm craving...x

A drip-tip is a mouthpiece - of metal, plastic or glass - in a 'vase' shape that makes it more comfortable on the lips. It also has a large bore hole so you can 'drip' juice straight onto a bare atomizer (if you wish) and it also decreases the likelihood of the hot juice a cartomizer might spit at you from getting into the mouth.

A cartomizer is good for about a week's use - it depends on how thick the juices are that you load it with. They can be cleaned and reused but performance does tend to suffer afterwards and they are designed to be disposable anyway.

Well I have purchased 5 LR Boges on your recommendations...and a pink drip tip so here's hoping! To be fair, if I'm using one a week at little more than £1, I'm still saving a fortune compared to tobacco or atomisers...I'm hoping they arrive soon as I'm really struggling with my rubbish atomisers atm! Note to self: Cola is not a good cleaner! Thanks for your help guys!x

oooh pink... dont think i could pull a pink one off myself lol i find the boges can last a month or so, it really depends on what juice you use... the darker the juices the less time they last in my experience ....once their performance drops off then pop another one on... like you said they are cheap enough..... the other great thing with them is you can fill them up with different flavour juices and swap them over throughout the day ...do a youtube search for condom fill method and do that for the first fill and then just top up from the top when the flavour drops off.... let us know how you get on x

I've been doing some Youtubing and boy am I pleased I finally know what the condom method is! I had visions of it being completely different!

In terms of juice I think I have a variety...'Golden Virginia' is a light honey colour but I've been mixing it with 'Marlboro' which looks kinda like golden syrup. My cherry flavour is kinda dark too...ahhh we shall see! I'm excited for them to arrive, particularly as I had a cig a few minutes ago and nearly passed out! Oopsie! Definitely time to get rid I think!

Oh the improvement! Good grief this is awesome... my only criticism is that I forgot to take the spike diddly out of the condom so spilt quite a lot... without wishing to be crude, I thought I'd had broken! It even makes my Golden Virginia taste nice again! Convert alert! Yey! Thanks guys!x

fantastic news Rachy whoop whoop!!! all you need now is a tank for your carto and you'll be vaping like a pro !!!! but thats for another day... sorry i should have posted a link to the condom fill method i wish it had adopted a different name LOL now once you have filled it once that way all you need to do is pop your lovely pink tip off and drip juice down the edges onto the filler.. not too fast though or it'll go down the center tube and your'll end up juice everywhere

A cartos suggestions thread and I can't see one mention of dual coils...

Dual coil cartomisers are like an LR carto upgrade; they are very responsive, only requiring shorter draws than previously.

Two 3 ohm coils in parallel giving a total resistance of approximately 1.5 ohms.

These produce great amounts of vapour due to the double effect heating area of the dual coils, but have less potential to burn due to the higher individual resistance of each coil.

This design allows heat to be transferred to a larger surface area than previous low resistance cartomizers (which force heat to a concentrated point with minimal surface area). For the user, that means shorter draws and increased vapour production, an advantage not previously available in low resistance cartomizers.
