cartomizer/battery life questions

Ok, so have my EGO 650ma and the batt lasts pretty much all day between charges but I would really like to try LR atty/carto for more vapor. How much more battery do the LRs use? Anyone have a direct comparison of standard vs LR attys and battery life (use time per charge)? Will I suddenly find myself with a dead battery half way through the day if I switch to LR attys/cartos?

I have read on here that a few people have killed their eGo batteries using the LR atty's and cartos so I would caution you on using them if you don't have back up batteries in case this happens.
