I can't comment on battery life - I don't use LR's much, since I don't care for how they taste.

But, they definitely produce more vapor, which is also warmer. And, to me anyway, they change the flavor of the juice. Some like it, some don't. And they do also burn through a LOT more juice. But if you do like it, then there's a good chance you will also like 5v vaping. :)

I just got my first LR atty today from liquidxpress for my tornado. I was very disappointed with how the standard atty's performed wich took me right back to analogs. I actually just got done trying my first few puffs on the LR atty and OMG what a difference! Now this I can live with. I used an empty reg cart also from Liquidxpress with some of their juice. Loads more vapor, warmer vapor, much better throat hit! I have no idea how long the battery will last atm, but if I remember I'll post back and let you know. so far though, this may be the kicker for me to kick the analogs for good (fingers crossed).

i'm happy with the amount of vapor i get from regular atty ,just not happy with the 3-4 second draw time to get a good hit.

keep me posted on how you make out

Hi prta79,

Low Resistance atties work great on the eGo. Though, I would recommend that you steer clear of the standard Low Resistance atties that are rated with a resistance of 1.5 ohms (pronounced - "omes"). This will probably be too harsh for you, giving you the effects described by MistressNomad; and will definitely run down the battery noticeably faster. All low resistance 510 atomizers are rated at right around 1.5 ohms. Well almost all.

Ikenvape has 2.0 and 2.5 ohm rated Low Resistance 510 atomizers. There's a big difference.

I personally like the 2.0 ohm rated LR 510 atty, myself, for 3.1 to 3.7 volts - the battery will last longer than with 1.5 ohm rated atty. Also, you might check out the 2.0 ohm rated 901 and / or 801 Low resistance atomizer (you'll need a 510 to 901 and 801 adapter); Ikenvape's got those too.

Amongst these standard or special ohm rating low resistance atomizers, you're sure to get close to, if not bulls-eye, the "sweet spot" on that eGo. Or heck, you might like the stronger hit of the 1.5 ohm LR 510 atty. I went almost 2 months using them before I found something I liked better. Have fun with the experiments!

Take care,

JTF
