I recently received my second shipment of cartomizers from vapornine.com and have been a little puzzled by them. the first carts i got all had a plastic cap and inner gasket. the new ones have an all rubber cap (easy to get off i love it!) the inner fluff seems to be WAY higher then my first ones and almost always covers the hole (which has so are always been waaayyyy off the middle) these new carts now crap out on my constantly. with a little poking and prodding i can get them to work again for a time but they just keep failing. so i guess i want to know are there actually different models of cartos? and where can i get the original ones i had i like them so much better!

I've found huge variations in cartomizers. Even within one vendor - V4Life - the newport lasted a half hour tops, poor vapor, then the cafe mocha frap is almost 901/510 vapor and lasts over 2 hours medium vaping. cuban cigar same as the newport but the flavoring is great. Other flavors are somewhere in the middle and this is with multiple cartos testing. So far, all other cartomizers from other vendors have the off underflavor that others have reported, that ruins the experience for me. I'm guessing it is part of the 'development' and they'll get it together eventually.

well im on my phone and tried to upload to photobucket but hey immediately deleted the image....not sure why. if anyone would like to see i can email it to you. and knt i dont think you understand what i mean. the actual catomizer is built totally different. after further inspection it seems this new batch is not all meta lon the bottom. there is a ring of black at the base(apears to be plastic) seated beneath the atomizerconnection and the wire inside is a bright red. almost pink.

Well, I did get that you were talking internally and I just think in the overall development they are trying different things. Which is good actually but along the way.... ;-) Thanks for the info.

Vapornine's Nebula is a KR808D-1 clone, so im presuming their carts are from the same place too...

Cartomizers are always hit or miss for me, I've had the most duds / funky ones from V4L and least from Vaporkings.com, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense because they're made by the same people. A while back i did experience the 'perfumey' taste in some carts but haven't had that lately

That was my understanding and it baffles me as well Except for the fact that dekang made both the juices from the china vendors, but they also made Janty/joye juice too. And there was a huge difference there. Same named flavors and totally different taste - so it's much in the vendors agreement and as far as flavor goes - the V4Lifers will know more about this than I do, but I'm guessing that V4Life is right on this quality line as far as flavors go. They, imo, need to get on the vapor and runtime consistency line and again, it is likely that they are. All but the fanboys are mentioning this here and there.

That's promising but as early as after Thanksgiving, unless I got old stock, it was in every flavor I got from there - VK not V4L. And the vapor and length of time was more consistent with the VK carts. That's why I said earlier about combining the best of both ;-) And I also wouldn't characterize the flavor as 'perfumey' in the sense that dekang cappuccino, eg. , is perfumey - so others know... It's different from that.
