To make sure that I am not doing this totally wrong.

So I have been filling my cartomizers by holding them at an angle and putting drops of e juice into them until the fiber is saturated completely.
I let it sit for 15 minutes, but this is where I think I am a little confused. When you let a carto sit for 15 minutes, I am letting it sit up with the threads facing down on the table with a paper towel underneath to catch anything that runs out.

After 15 minutes I try to add a drop or two to see if its going to hold any more, and if there is any excess I blow it through into the paper towel and wipe the threaded side out to avoid getting juice on my battery.

Am I doing this wrong? Does anyone have any tips? Please Help

Sounds like you got it to me! Do you blow through the threaded end? If you blow through the mouth end you end up blowing out most of the juice - bad...

I've never had it blow out my juice that way. Only what's in the tube. Blowing through the mouth end should only push it in the filler more I would think. JMO

I use thin juices with 20% VG or less

I add 18 drop per ml capacity (Boge and other standard size cartos are 1ml). Then I wait 15 seconds. Then I drip in however many more it will soak up easily (usually 3-6). I hold a tissue on the threaded end hole while filling.

Then clean it up.

Then I settle ON DIFFERENT SIDES - lay it down. And change which side it is laying a few times. After 15-20 minutes, if your juice is thin, you can be sure every bit of stuffing has gotten some juice and is damp

I top off too. I use juices that leave the stuffing so clean I can often just look at the stuffing and se if it got light (I use a delrin or plastic drip tip as a mouthpiece so it's easy for me to pull that out and look). Other than that I top off when the vapor or taste gets weak or the carto starts running warmer than normal. And I always check before putting it on a fresh battery because fresh batteries are slightly higher voltage right off the charger. I still occasionally singe them a bit. By the end of 7-10 days (which is 2-3 weeks for me since I alternate vaping a pair) some bitterness has gotten in, dulling the sweet and adding a fairly compatible bit of bitterness the tobacco I use.
