cartomizer noise

Hi,

I am new and tried a prefilled cartomizer today. it makes a noise when I take a hit. also a kinda gurgling/popping noise. got no throat hit and almost no vapor. am I doing something wrong? I took off the two condoms....

when I use an atty and cart it is silent

what kind of carto and where did you get them? most the pre-filled cartos i get usually suck lol. I stick with Boge LR cartos, they sizzle but the throat hit and vapor is crazy.

Hey Cags, I don't know if it's "normal" but alot of my prefilled (and self-filled) cartomizers pop, hiss, gurgle...I think it has to do with how much juice is in them. My atty's make gurgling sounds when I overfill them...sometimes they pop too - Just not as loud as a carto! Also - if the cartomizer has too much juice drowning the center tube, you may not get much vapor. Just keep gently drawing on it or blow through the screwend hole to clear out juice from the middle tube if that makes sense.
Just be careful - sometimes those pops send a hot bit of juice onto your tongue!

I got them at litecigusa - here is part of the description (I don't see an item # or anything):
Cartomizer – 510 Electronic Cigarette Refill Cartridges
Prefilled Cartomizers for 510 kits and anything else with a 510 threading!
These 510 cartomizers are not the tiny one with a soft moutpiece. They are full sized and hold roughly 1ml of liquid...

thanks, I'll try the blowing thing - I may not be able to get past the weird sound when I am taking a puff! I might end up being an atty/cart kinda girl <g>

Your description sounds like your carts are Joye. I had 10 of them and found them to be more than troublesome and they are all in the trash. I prefer and use the Boge LR.

thanks for that info, now I don't feel like it's me! I'll look into boge, but I am unsure of LR!

I second the praise of the Boge cartomizers. I don't buy the LR ones though. I think the last place I found them was Liberty Flights - many suppliers have been out of them lately.

I get mine from Vapor Kings mainly because they have the resistance printed on them making them easy to recognize.
