I have no other experience on other cartos but SI's cartos seem to be far better than any other vertical coil carto, i have seen pictures of some other vertical ones and they all have crappy connections (no one can assure you this is NOT lead) and wires running up and down.
Horizontal cartomizers like SI's are more flexible and easier to clean.
Have never tried other horizontal coil ones tho.

Big difference that I found immediately was that ALL FIVE cartos in the pack WORK! :)
Not so true with other brands that I've tried, and they never warrant their cartos under ANY circumstances.

Then after multiple cleanings, they outlast the others I've tried too.

That's right - And they don't tighten up nearly as quickly.

glad to hear it guys :)

The thing that drives me crazy is in other places on the forum there are many who say we are just re-branded Kanger products...Which is 100% NOT true.

The e-9 (longtotem) was the first ever cartomizer model. Kanger was the innovator of the KR808d-1 The second ever cartomizer model. (that is why the KR is in front of KR808d-1....that is why I always just say 808d-1 as that is the threading)

Since then many many other ecigs factories have been created and have created their own innovations... many just still use the original threading from these first 2 kinds to be compatible with the market place.

Our factory was in the innovator of the horizontal coil. Now many others have imitated them and made their own version of the horizontal coil including Kanger. So yes there are now Horizontal coil KR808d-1's.... but that is not what we are selling. We sell a horizontal 808d-1 made by our factory which is not kanger.

Kanger is probably the largest cartomizer manufacturer at the moment. Kanger's horizontal coil cartos would actually cost us about 30% less then we are paying...however we do not find they are of equal quality. So please keep all this in mind when you see other cartos for cheaper.

In addition our position with our factory allows us to make customized products...in some cases there are just tweaks, or decisions on the quality of items used in production and in some cases they are exclusive creations born in the minds of SI and sometimes it's customers

I just began using the "stainless steel" Smokeless Image cartos last Friday.

Right out of the box, they appear to be of better quality than the other brands I have used. In every Smokeless Image carto I have used so far, the airholes through the cotton batting are dead center, and perfectly line up with the mouthpiece hole. In other cartos I have used, the airhole has been far to one side at times, with the batting pulled too tight as well. No adjustments needed so far with Smokeless Image.

As well, the performance has been top-notch. I believe these cartos are ~2.5 ohm, which is slightly lower than others I have used, which are around 2.7. This really hits the sweet spot on my gen 1 KR808 (not a Volt).

The connection of the SI carto on my non-Volt KR808 battery is actually better and tighter than the cartos from the same company that I got the batteries from.

I'm impressed with Smokeless Image. They seem to run a tight ship, judging from the quality and the fast shipping. I placed my carto order last Tuesday and they arrived Friday morning - standard First Class shipping.

I'm so impressed, I just ordered a 900 mAh MaXx big battery, and I'm looking forward to enjoying it.

Interesting...just started refilling cartos (see how new I am in my signature). Opened up a Volt cartomizer and a competitor's. BIG difference in quality when you look under the hood. Your products continue to convince me that you guys are very quality focused.

Congrats on quitting!! Yes, the video review that I saw about how differently the SI cartos are built is what convinced me to order my gear from SI. And I have no regrets. I tell everyone that I know who is thinking about vaping or quitting smoking about Smokeless Image. I know I sound like a commercial, but I'm very happy and excited about the quality of this product and the customer service. I'm still refilling and using cartos that I got with my first order almost two months ago. They last forever. I know that I made a good choice and so did you! Cheers!!

I've been in the heating & air conditioning repair business for 40 years. I love knowing what makes things work. How that translates to vaping is that I disect everythig electrical to see how it works. I've disected carts from several 808 suppliers & a few 510's. I've not seen anything with the quality & thought in any thing else. For now volt carts are what I am using. And it will stay that way until there is something better out there. To be honest I don't see a way that anyone can improve on this design, until the state of the technology takes some pretty big strides forward.

And that's my opinion & I'm stickin' to it.
