Ok I have only been using my v2 e cig for a couple of weeks and finally ordered some blanks and some e juice from Mountain Oak Vapors (which is very good!)
My plan was to try to use 2 cartomizers a week topping them off in the morning and in the evening. So far this is all I am vaping. I plan to throw out and replace those 2 cartos every week. My question is will my cartomizers last all week doing this as long as I don't burn them dry?
I used some sample cartos for a couple of weeks but I would rather have fresh ones every week and with this method I would only use 8 a month.

No one can really say how long a cartomizer will last, but they will definitely last longer if you keep them topped off with liquid and not let them get dry. Mine do last long, but I use pretty thin, clear liquid (mostly PG) and rotate a bunch of PV's.

I would say that unless you have really thick, dark liquid they should last a week.

i started w V2 the best I can tell you is get a drip tip and take the little plug off, then just drip some juice when they need topping off - doing this I would use the same cart 2-3 days then use another, after that (i had 20 something carts of theirs) i would boil them, rinse in the faucet and dry them in the window sill
once dry. fill like 4-5 to always have spares and repeat the dripping - using 2-3 carts a week.
some would hold up to this for weeks.

try cleaning the old ones, i found that an overnight soak in vodka, then hot water rinse the next day followed by 24 hours upside down to dry successfully cleans a cartomizer...i've had several last me months this way

ya that would work too............ i just cant do that to alcohol (not drink it lol)

while i agree to a point, i generally find the crappiest vodka i can find to do this with....i mean when you get a fifth for 15 bucks, you know it's not really worth drinking that caustic swill.....

You might consider advancing to a little larger battery (eGo or Smokeless Image X2's) to be able to carry larger amounts of juice. Attachments like clearomizers or even cartomizer tanks can allow you to carry 2-3 times the amount of juice at a time, plus allow longer battery times between 7-14 hours. You may wish to try one of these larger devices out in the privacy of your home if they make you self-conscious when outside the home.

Don't the atomizers in the cartomizers wear out after a period of time? I kept the ones I was using topped off but after the second week it didn't seem to heat up the vapor very well. Also I work from 6 in the morning til 3 in the afternoon. Is it best to top of my cartos for the day the night before or that morning before I leave for work? I don't carry juice to work. I just put all my carts on my batteries so I can easily switch if I empty one or if a battery goes dead.

they will eventually wear out, but the lack of heat, lack of airflow, lack of flavor, etc. is primarily due to a bunch of thick syrupy funk that clumps up and clogs the polyfill...if you throw it in some vodka/everclear/moonshine overnight...most of that stuff will dissolve away and allow you to rinse away the rest with hot water and let it dry and it would be almost new

what he said....... they will usually keep going till they blow or wear out the coil inside, sometimes that's quit a while.

If you can, fill them up the night before so the filling has enough time to soak it up. I use carto tanks so it isn't an issue, but I remember when I was just filling them I used the condom method and let them sit a bit.
