I just bought the Boge 6 mL F16 cartomizer tank but was having trouble finding punched cartomizers for it. Boge calls the right one XXL. I found a dealer who says the XL will work fine. Does anyone know if that is the case? I would hate to think I just wasted $7.

the f16 cart is only for the f16 and f17 tanks. they are prepunched and ready to roll.

Hooiser vapes also has them prepunched. They also run a lot of good sales on carts. They show up in your cart automatically most times.

Here's a huge list of vendors that sell the Boge XL laser-drilled carts you need. There are only two length of cartomizers made: standard (35mm) and XL (45mm). I have no idea why Boge sometimes calls the longer ones XXL. It only adds more confusion to new vapors.

I never had any intentions of punching cartomizers. However, I had made an error and ordered unpunched cartos, silly me. Not wanting to waste them, I used a Quick-Tap QT-1 to punch the said. The process was very simple and yielded excellent results. I did take my time, as not to destroy the carto nor make too big of a hole.

Keep your used cartos handy. Make those available to practice on when you are ready to start punching.
